Got to meet Tyler (the kid with 1,000+ votes) yesterday and I gotta say, I hope he wins.  He was a budding  amateur golfer who, two days after breaking par  for the first time, suffered a stroke.  The right side of his skull is a bit deformed from surgery.  His dad said when Tyler was recovering he was severely depressed, so he told Tyler to get his clubs out of the garage and dust them off, they were going to the driving range.  The dad said that after three swings he could see Tyler's who demeanor change back to the kid he knew before the stroke.

 

He's says he's going to pursue his dream of becoming a professional golfer.  He's a fine young Gentleman, and I hope he makes it!

Hey Gang -- last day of voting is here!  Moved into 24th place last night (thanks to all!)  The top 25 automatically move on to the round of 100 - the rest will be chosen subjectively.  They'll have interviews and a skills competition this week the weed that group down to the Final 16.  Am currently at 205 votes - which ain't bad for jumping in two weeks late with the video (again, thanks to you guys!!!!!).
