RookieBlue7
Just wondering what you guys other hobbies are besides playing golf? We may have done this before but since I'm headed to do one of mine I figured why not? One of my hobbies is rehabbing old putters, but that's golf related. So where am I headed? To the firing range. Just picked up my new piece yesterday after locating one finally so we gotta run some rounds down the pipe. Jmikecpa
Nice piece Rookie. I grew up hunting and trap shooting but got away from it when I lived in Philly for 17 years. I am into cars and bikes these days. Just got a Charger RT over the winter and trying to convince my wife to let me bring the two Harleys out of hiding so I can start riding again. It's my first one though and will probably only last one year. I kinda want a touring bike. I live on Long Island so rural rides are tough, not like the mountains of PA that I grew up near. My Fatboy is not bad for cruising, but the Road King is the most comfortable bike that I have ever ridden. I tried getting my old man to trade with me years ago and he would not do it. dru_
Well, my two wheel options are or one of my bicycles. Golf clubs on the bicycle aren't any fun, you gotta stuff em on a trailer. Which I have done, but not as much fun as rolling up on this :-). As for city riding, it is simple. There are two kinds of drivers, those that don't see you and those that want to kill you. Assume that either driver will make the most dangerous possible decision for you, prepare for it, and if it doesn't happen, smile and prepare for the next one! BIG STU
My Harley. But I haven't tried to put the golf clubs on back yet. New Pipes 3.jpg I actually built a golf bag mount for the before mentioned Harley. It was based off of hard saddle bag mount. Worked pretty well with a walking stand bag never tried it with a staff bag though. In the old days I used to put the travel cover on my Hogan Sun Jet bag and lay it down on the back seat and over the hard bags. there was a company making stand up golf bag mounts for bikes actually that is what I copied mine off of since I can weld and fabricate Driver ---- Callaway Big Bertha Alpha Speeder 565 R flex- 5W TM V-Steel Fubuki 60r--- 7W TM V-Steel UST Pro Force Gold 65R----- 9 W TM V Steel TM MAS stiff---- Irons 2015 TM TP CB Steel Fiber 95 R--- GW Callaway Mack Daddy 2 52* shaft unknown junk pile refugee.
