Push Carts....any advice?

Can anyone point me in the right direction as I am planning on purchasing my first push cart ever?  I have finally decided that with two bum knees it is time to stop carrying my bag and I am just too darn cheap to spring for a riding cart whenever I play.  Any advice would be great since they all look the same to me.

On my 3rd season with a Sun Moutain Speed Cart...love it!  Just don't push it with the break on.  It doesn't like that.  Good prices over on rockbottomgolf.com...

Can't go wrong with a Clicgear either.  I've had a 2.0 for a couple seasons and while I don't use it much, it works very well.

I need to fix the brake on my clicgear 2.0, but otherwise the thing is rock solid.

I have a clicgear 2.0 and it still functions the same as when I first purchased it.

 

It folds up super small and is built like a tank.

 

I will definitely buy clicgear again when it's time for mine to go to my daughter.

I believe the Rovic was designed to allow you to leave your back attached to it when you fold it up. The 3.5 will not allow for that. So if you want that feature then the Rovic would be for you, otherwise the 3.5 is the smallest when folded.

I will throw my vote to the BagBoy C3. New cart from one of the better cart companies.  I love the ClicGear, but find the opening and closing process a bit much. 

 

Truth be told, I hate a push cart.  I tried one for a few rounds at my club last season, and quickly gave it to someone else.  I felt like I was mowing the lawn, not playing golf. (did I mention that our course is a bit hilly??)  I will always carry a lighter bag, and just deal.. 

 

I am sorry to hear about your knees...  that sounds like the worst.

I have a Clicgear 3.0 and a 3.5.  There is no difference between the 2.  That said, I like them both and there is more than enough room to hold "stuff" on them. 

 

The biggest advantages of the Clicgear over the Sun Mountain :

 

The Clicgear holds the bag a bit more vertically.  The Sun mountain is laid back further.

The Sun Mountain has those 2 skinny steel cables in the back.

The Clicgear is more compact.

I have a CaddyTec One EZFold that I picked up from Amazon last year for about half the price of a ClicGear, and it look and acts pretty similar.  For $129 (the price looks like it has gone up since then) it included the umbrella holder and a little shoe scuffer thing to get the crap off the bottom of your shoes.

 

I love it after a year and it has held up great.  It folds up really small and is super easy to open and close...

 

search on Amazon or CaddyTek.com, but I think they are cheaper on amazon...

Thanks for the input from everyone. Without my knowledge my wife actually went out today and picked up the Clicgear 3.5 for me at PGA Superstore. Now if I could just get her to do the same for me with putters I would be all set.

Sun Mountain 3 wheel if room isnt an issue.  Bullet proof and will last a lifetime.  Ive had mine since 2004 and it will last another 20 with no problem.

Have to say that I am liking the Clicgear.  I walked 36 holes on Sunday with no issues and it has been a few years since I could walk 36 in a day without pain in my knees.

Glad you're liking the cart.  I love walking...just makes the game more enjoyable.... but there's no way I'm carrying a bag anymore!

I have thought about walking again......but just joined Pebble Creek and the carts are included.
