I tried a lot of different drivers last year.  The Adams Super S beat out a TMag RBZ, TMag R1, TMag R11S, Ping G20 and a Callaway X-hot.

 

Surprised the heck out of me how nice it performs.  It really makes me curious about those new alien looking Adams XTD Cross Cavity irons.

 

I now need to find a 4 wood to put in there.

Good looking setup I knew you would get R.P.'s attention with the Mizzys. Seriously let me know how the Maltby wedges perform for you I have been seriously considering them for some time. Even though I have several wedges I like I always experiment with wedges and I had thought about building some of them. They seem to be a quality product for the price

I bought the Maltby's a while back ago and the 58* Green wedge keeps sneaking back into whatever bag combo I have.  It is just too easy out of the sand not to keep it in.

 

I have the 54 in red and the 58/62 in green. 

 

I think if I were to purchase these again I would order them in the black version and not get the 62.

 

The black has a thinner sole and one of the courses I play has no sand and some rough/hard turf recovering from a flood.  The green versions dont work well from tight/hard lies.

 

At 33 bucks for a complete club they are cheap to try.

OK thanks for your imput. I will probably order the ready ship packs with the TT Score shafts and the grips. I am not real familuar with that shaft but I would experiment with it. I have plenty of S300 and stepless wedge shafts here but experimentation is fun.

Nice bag. Check out Tour Edge for your 4w. I bought an XCG6 4w (16.5deg) when divot had them on sale, new for $100 I think. Fantastic fw, loves to go straight and long, and at 16.5 it lands pretty softly as well.

FedEx just came and dropped off a new addition to the family,

and my son got me a new headcover for fathers day.

Took the SLDR to the range and played 9 holes with it.  It is up for sale. My old driver fits me better.  While I could hit this one OK, it just doesnt inspire confidence with me that I have with my old driver.

 

So  the Adams Super S is back in "until I change my mind" ...... again
