It would be interesting if we can have a side by side comparison with the V1 and Cadence versions. Just to see if anything has changed.

Perhaps MGS can help? :P

There is a face on comparison in the blog article today.

Oh what I meant was a small test.

As in a mini face off between them like roll 10 putts and see the results.

Sorry I wasn't clear and yes I did see the comparison and it was very obvious the physical differences. Mine is the same as Cadence.

Here is the actual link to apply for the refund, for those who want to try.   You must have bought from an authorized dealer and provide the serial number in order to qualify.

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally the putter came back.

Paintfill was done although I felt it could be better but given it's mostly aesthetic I give it a pass.

What pisses me off was the insistence the rust on the baseplate was dirt. If it was dirt, then I should not be seeing it again after the repair yet I can see all the areas that were previously affected.

I don't mind minor defects but man up to it and move on, Ping. I like the putter a lot as the next day on the training green gave me some of the nicest putts I've ever hit.

But if this is the sort of quality I'm given from Ping, then this will probably be the last putter I'm getting from them. The gaps between the sole plate and head also had small stones/dirt in them.

P.S I've ordered some pure silicon cloth(gun cloth) from Amazon and will be using them to put on a protective layer on the Ketsch after I play each round. Hate to bring back for repairs(takes 2-3 weeks) every now and then.
