Mimz
So I recently purchased a Used r1 for a pretty good price from an online retailer. I've taken it into my local store twice now and both time a staff member has commented on the shaft and thought it could possibly be fake due to the matte finish and the g being lower case for grams instead of it being a capital G. I've attached a few photos of the club, if anyone has ever had an R1 TP matrix ozik RUL 60 shaft that could either confirm or deny my worst nightmare that would be awesome! markb
I don't know about the shaft, but it is EXTREMELY unlikely that a left-handed R1 is fake. The counterfeiters are all about quick profits and stuff that is easy to move. You can't get many mannies to even make left handed clubs and they resell for steep discounts over right handed clubs anyway. If I were a counterfeiter, I'd never bother with a lefty club. The shaft is a different story. Did you buy it direct from China, HK, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore or Australia? Never do that btw, and you'll eliminate 95% of your problems. Did you buy it from a Chinese webstorefront in California? Also not a good idea. bag - SunMountain Synch with Ogio Synergy X4 cartdriver - Optiforce 440, Paderson Kevlar Green stiff 46.5"fwoods - Jetspeed, 3HL regularirons - Speedblades 3-8, 85g stiff steel, 2 upwedges - Scor 40, 45, 50, 54, 58putter - Ketsch 35" slight arc, SuperStroke 2.0 mid-slimball - ProV1x

RookieBlue7
The shaft and head are both legit. The R1 graphics Matrix RUL does have the lower case g denoting grams. Those shafts are also matte finish(the fake R1 shafts are very glossy).. The shaft is as legit as it gets as is the head, as there are virtually zero fake lefty heads out there.
