GolfSpy WD
Yikes, that's awful. Hopefully you don't lose any clubs. I've had water come up pretty high in my old apartment, I was worried about the furnace and water tank too, but they turned out ok, so hopefully yours do too. Just don't turn them on for a while after you pump that water out. Borrow as many sump pumps as you can in the meantime...good luck @GolfSpy_WD
Jmikecpa
Water is mostly out after peaking at close to 4 feet in the basement. I calculated last night that based on the sizes of the pumps I had and how many gallons that they moved per hour that I took close to 200,000 gallons of water out of the house. Most of the stuff in my basement is ruined including a bunch of golf bags and other golf stuff. My son's rangefinder is toast as is my youngest daughter's entire bag. Still waiting for the restoration contractor to return my phone call......over two days later. At least I have a facilities department at work that was willing to lend a hand and brought some fans out to my house today to help with the drying and got me a few extra pumps yesterday morning. Let's hope we have a quiet hurricane season and better winter than last year. I work as a meteorologist, everything I've read says negative to both in the north east. Should be a down year for hurricanes, but any that form in the Atlantic would likely be on the eastern seaboard. And east coast winter looks to be just about as worse if not worse than last year. sorry for the bad news. Driver: Epic Flash 12 Degree Wood: GBB 3 Wood Hybrid: Razr 4 hybriid stiff stock shaft. I know what a 200,000 gallon water tank looks like and it could swallow a whole house. Yes I was. My calculation was simply based on the number of pumps X GPH X Time. I had three 2200 GPH pumps running along with one 4000 GPH pumps running for a day straight to get the water out as well as start to equalize the water table. Still have two pumps running almost non-stop pulling water out of my french drain.
