Did you have any problems with these bending? Any plastic tees I've used in the past got bent up from hitting them or from pushing them into the ground.

Not really. The blade design pretty much makes that a non-issue. Maybe we can coordinate schedules over the next few weeks and I can drop a couple by for you to try. I think you'll like them.

Is sounds like it is a bit too short to use with the big headed driver. Did I read that wrong?

another thing which might not matter in your area or when u play but during the cold months a plastic gets hard and breaks easier, i went like a month with a zero friction tee once

 

but when it gets cold i break one every hole so i would like to see how it does up north in october

When it is cold, for me Zero Friction tees just bend and don't go in enough.

Looks interesting but the vid almost drove me nuts... He fixed the pitch mark wrong...

Some people here lean the tee forward in an effort to reduce the possibility of friction. Works well enough I suppose, except when the wind blows and the ball sometimes falls off at an inopportune moment. That blade design seems like just another variation of this idea.

 

I carry both wood and plastic tees. In private clubs the teeing ground is normally soft and even soft plastic will work well enough but in public courses a wood tee is very much needed for the hard ground.

The review is correct. I've used the D-tee for my last 6 rounds or so, and I never want use wood tees again. They really are cool, as well as funtional. Somebody else must have tried them.

It depends on how high you like to tee the ball up with a deep faced driver.

 

If you typically tee the ball a little lower then you'd be OK. If you tee the ball in the prescribed fashion with half the ball above the face like most people do then it still works but you have to barely place the tee in the ground to get it high enough. And on a couple of poorly mowed tee boxes at my local muni, that proved to be at times a frustrating experience.
