SPY VIP The Dansome Posted August 25, 2014 SPY VIP Share Posted August 25, 2014 FROM THE BLOG Nike Launches Vapor Series Irons The Vapor Lineup By now most of you have seen the #MMProto irons that Nike launched in extremely limited quantities a few weeks ago. Those, now known as the Vapor Pro, are part of the new lineup, albeit with one not-so-subtle tweak. The Pro, along with the other two new irons (Pro Combo and Vapor Speed), feature bright neon accents. FYI, Nike calls the color Volt, and I suspect it's not going to resonate – at least not in any positive way – with purists, and those of you who are already a bit Nike Golf averse. http://www.mygolfspy.com/nike-golf-vapor-irons/ So whatcha think about Volt? I'm not a fan because I associate red with nike players irons and greens/yellows with low end such as the "Slingshot" Yo #JustPlayBetter Follow @GolfSpyMBP

Salmon
I am actually really liking these new sets, something thats vibrant and a little different. I'm really hoping that Nike increases the custom and shaft options available here in Aus because that is one of the main reasons why I havn't looked very hard at them yet. ZenGolfer
Meh. Not a fan. Like someone else said, theyre a little too, "Slingshot" for me. Nike needs to go more classic and forget about these funky, futuristic designs. Plus, Nike have never really been known for playing it terribly safe, yeah? Anyway, I like the new direction and hope it gets a little traction. Not sure Id call it a, "new direction" though. "I suppose its better to be a master of 7 than to be vaguely familiar with 14." - Chick Evans Whats in my Sun Mountain 2.5+ stand bag?
