But I think I'm beginning to see a method in its madness. They brought back the Tour Preferred CB, MC, and MB labels last year not because they had finally decided to steer that course on into the future. They did it because it had been 4 years since they'd done it the last time -- about exactly the same amount of time it takes for people to decide they need new irons. So they perked the interest of all the fans of the last edition. Now it's been awhile since they did the R7 and R9 TP irons, so this is their recycle. Same thing with the Burner woods (which have plenty of fans) and R series drivers. Frequent recycling at least caters to your existing fan base. So while we'll see the SLDR go away for a year or so, expect it back in about 2017.
