FWIW, if you aren't a gym rat, just 30-45 minutes a day of pilates, or general yoga will provide golf benefits.

Tru dat -- best golf of my life has happened while doing yoga.  I just can't for the life of me do "Downward Dog"

I was considering a lewd comment about downward dog, or in fact many other yoga positions - but have decided to move to the moral high ground......

If I tried to life a 1/4 of what Rory is there, that'd be me under the knife again - make the most of it while your young Rory!

Those are bumper plates (designed to bounce, not destroy the floor).  Can you tell how much weight that is just by looking at it?

Those are definitely the exercises to do to develop power...

If there is that much strain on his face, imagine how much is on his knees.  Hoping he doesn't blow it out like Tiger, but doing this kind of stuff will lead to that.

Tiger was also doing a lot of running which lead to his knee problems. I'm sure Rory has the best trainers who aren't going to let him tear his body up

Every athlete on the planet has thought that at some point, hell, I did when I was Rorys age.  Now I can't bend my knees for the first hour I'm out of bed.

That is CRAZY !!!  going to start up the good ole "winter" workout soon.  Have to hang up the clubs 4-6 weeks (post ACDF surgery).  Think this might be a good time to start ......

That is very true, I've been lucky enough to not have any major injuries in my days

Looks close to 275# , 230 in weights and 45 pound bar.  Hard to believe he isn't wearing a belt or knee wraps considering his size.
