Holiday Gift Ideas.....

Recommended Posts

I was looking at the site where jax said you could rent the Boards and saw the following......I must say, this is a nifty way to sell merch.

Anybody else see ideas like these?

My course doesn't have stuff like that.  Since we are closed for the winter months they try to move through all of their inventory during the fall and close it out.

One thing that is cool that they do though, during the month of Dec for every $25 gift card purchase you get an extra $5.  Limit is $500 GC which would net you an extra hundred bucks for free.  I'm planning on doing this and applying it towards my membership next year.

Last year they didn't set a limit and think many folks ended up with largely discounted memberships.

Ok so in a couple of weeks I'll be heading to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for a friend's bachelor party. All of us play golf so I know at least 1 round of golf will be played on the trip.
Also, me and another buddy who are more avid golfers plan on playing 1 other round of golf.

As far as price, I need two different things. 1 in the sub $120 range and another in the sub $60 range.
I'd love something in good shape. Doesn't have to be crazy hard or easy. Although I'd prefer hard to easy. Just want to play a couple fun, nice golf courses.
      Thanks for any help!

Welcome to my Holiday Wish List - the place for this seasons best gift ideas.
While you're here, tell us what's on your Wish List this year!
      Day 1

The Cleveland Golf Huntington Beach series putters prove Christmas miracles do come true. It amazes me a putter can feel and perform this well, and be found under your tree for less than $100. Seriously you don't need to spend $350 to get a good putter--heck these put many $1000+ boutique flat sticks to shame.
      DAY 2

Today's #MBPWishList is a gimmie. Other than a visit from GolfSpy X himself, what more could a kid ask for on Christmas than @mygolfspy swag under the tree?
      Day 3

Day 3 of the Holiday Wish List - I know I beat this one to death, but seriously, 400+ tour pros worldwide can't be wrong. Every golfer deserves the gift of proper impact position this year and the DST Compressor training aid should be on your list.
      DAY 4

My Holiday Wish List Day 4 features handcrafted leather grips from Best Grips made right in the USA. What keeps me coming back to the Micro-Perf is their penchant to get tackier when wet, thanks to the addition of pro-tac. I've have a set of Micro-Perfs that are over 2 years old and they look almost as good as new. Treat this grip with a little love and it's gift that keeps on giving.

      Day 5

The @snellgolf My Tour Ball really is the one that signified direct to consumer balls were with taking notice, and that's because it's made by the man with the best resume in balls. Check out@mygolfspy's review linked in profile and see why you should give the gift of balls this Christmas.
      DAY 6

#MBPWishList - @bloodsweatandthread's passion for making some of the coolest handmade bag tags and covers around shows through in the final craftsmanship. Want to give a truly special and original gift this holiday season? Then visit their profile and check out some truly dope covers.

      DAY 7

      #MBPWishList -@wilsongolf
      FG Tour F5 irons

On the phone with GolfSpy X:
Me - I really want to try XXX irons
X - No, you want the Wilson F5's. They're unreal, you'll be hitting 4 irons 225y high and straight.

When the boss speaks pay attention, he knows his bizz. It's hard to believe Wilson brand these a “crossover” with their sleek lines and shot making abilities. Oh and did I mention they're forged and feel heavenly? This is the club that put a 3 iron back in my bag, so if you're looking for a great GI iron take a look at the Wilson FG Tour F5.

      DAY 8

      Holiday Wish List Day 8:
@wearbradleyallan set out to create “A stylish golf shirt that's as dry on 18 green as it was on the first tee.” and I can't argue with that. The blend of lightweight Pima cotton and technical, quick-drying polyester is like gentle kisses on your skin. The true beauty of the Oxford Pique Polo is it still looks and feels the same after a wash, dry and iron. For the most stylish man on the course and at Christmas dinner this season, give this gift of fine apparel

      DAY 9

Stat junkies and tech geeks will love the easy to interpret data Arccos Driver produces. I'm a big fan of simplicity & ease of use, and Arccos is just that. Once initially paired, other than starting your round on your phone, there's nothing else to do but enjoy your day. A lot of golfers can benefit from tracking stats to see what to correct in their games, my only real wish is that I had Arccos on all my clubs.

      Read the @mygolfspy review bit.ly/2gl5re1

      DAY 10

      Holiday Wish List Geek Day!
I'm as much a geek as I am a golfer, so today's wish list item goes @starwars. Everyone deserves an app controlled droid in their life 😁 and the @sphero BB8 makes the perfect gift. Yes, some will say this is soooooo like, last year, but their addition of a wrist band controller this season makes it fresh and new!

      Day 11

      Holiday Wish List Day 11
@costco Kirkland Signature tour quality ball with urethane cover

      1. It beat the #1ballingolf in @mygolfspytests http://www.mygolfspy.com/kirkland-vs-titleist-pro-v1/
      2. It's $15 per dozen
      3. See 1 and 2

There, holiday shopping made super easy. You're welcome.

      Merry Christmas

      Day 12

And on the 12th day of Christmas... The super sexy @srixongolfZ765 is possibly the ultimate player's cavity back. The Z765 irons bring a ton of forgiveness in a compact cavity back, yet they retain the ability to work the ball demanded by better players. Santa baby, skip the duplex (well not really, bring both) and slip some Z765's under the tree for me.

Hi guys, looking for some suggestions for golf courses in the gulf shores/ orange beach area for early September. I was already planning to play Kiva Dunes. Are there any that you guys suggest?
      Thanks in advance,
