Sorry, guys, been on the road for work, for what seems like two months straight.  I will get the final standings and everything posted tonight when I get back home.

I was on the road most of the year, and twice when I made my picks at a hotel I did not make sure they actually went thru. I dropped from 3rd to 33 in two weeks and was never unable to every get back into it.

Played this site (Yahoo) for a few years now and I've learned you can never double check yourself enough. You probably did everything right and it switched on it's on.  Has happened to me too many times to count, even after double checking a day later that my changes went through.

I've had it happen, as well.  I noticed that when I changed my roster on one device, it might not show up as updated on another which might throw the roster out of sync.  I quit using multiple devices to make roster changes and that seemed to fix it for me.

I actually tried that and only used my phone for several weeks.  Still did it to me.  One time I changed my lineup and saved the changes.  Went back a day later and the changes were there.  While checking I made a change.  Checked it that night before going to bed (East Coast tourney so started early the next morning).  When I finally checked the next day to see how I was doing my original lineup from the week before was officially being used.

 

Another time I checked on Sunday night to see final scores and my lineup was completely different than it had been during the tournament.  Came back a few minutes later and it was back to being correct.

There's definitely some issues with the Yahoo site, that's just been the worst one since it will affect your picks.  Maybe we can try a different host site for next season.

It was a fun year of golf, playing fantasy golf, AND watching the new, younger guns take over the tour this season.   The fantasy makes it more enjoyable, but either way, watching the tour this season was incredible.   Congrats to the winners and let's do it again next season, or later this year, whichever way you look at it

Fantasy golf doesn't start until Kapalua in Jan.

Well that's relevant to each site ... there are so many pools running fglweb.com/fglmain.php shows many groups have started to open their groups. Some are high end ... and knowing who is running the group. (Honest or ? ) .. I'm always looking to join new groups ...but with draft.. street buying up most of the independant run Fantasy Games its getting very difficult to find home base games (office pool type) such as Kerplookee which has gone under... I still like playing Guru Fantasy Golf but prizes are ... very small. I like the format cause its based on birdies made. There are others of course.

 

Anyway, if you find a good site ... if its allowed to post it here share it ... ..  if I have posted something not allowed I apologize in advance.

Here's a great American Golf Fantasy Site you should promote ...cause I believe Draft .... is from a gambling country ? not sure of their origins .. pretty sure its not USA ..

Draftkings and Buzz each have their positives.   The reason I personally don't like draftkings as much is the birdie/bogey thing for pts and minus pts.    I just personally like the idea of getting points based on where players finish only.     But again, that is just preference.   Buzzfantasy leagues also makes you use strategy for which tournaments during the year you can use a player (only can pick players 8 times in the season).   Draftkings you just pick over and over based on salary cap.   I will play either place the game is set up, but I also prefer buzzfantasyleagues.com
