Little or Unknown Golf Polos

Recommended Posts

I have been searching all over and figured I would end here and pose this question.

Is it possible to find polos that Ryo or Y.E. wear in the US? Or any little known company. Psycho Bunny or Bunker Mentality are the only two I can find that I haven't really seen.

I go with the norm sometimes on the course ie. Puma, adidas, TM, Nike.

But sometimes you gotta have that wow factor at tournaments or outings. I don't know how many outings I have shown up to and everyone has on white pants or crazy colors. It is getting to a point wear I might revert to the likes of Speith and go reserved.

My the fade be with you,

JM

fairwaygolfusa.com sells a lot of JP clubs, not sure if they also have clothing.  Might be a place to start the search though.

Ebay is probably another place to look.

Thanks I will check that out. I have ordered through Trendygolf they have a few rare items. I am hesitant on Ebay with all of the fakes out there. I ordered a JLindeberg shirt and it was a horrible fake in person. I guess the price was too good to be true..... it wasn't true

I shop at Kohls; I'm a big fan of Izod and Fila golf apparel.  Get a 30% off coupon and you can load up for next to nothing.

Not sure if Uniqlo fits the bill, but that is what Adam Scott wears. Usually pretty reasonable prices though they tend to be seasonal so may not be able to find polos now. I have a few of their cotton ones and they are great. Will get some of the performance shirts in the spring.

I will have to check them out. I just found Kooga polos. They are a rugby company but seem to have some polos.

I will continue my quest for the unknown.

Lands' End is another good one that most people dont know about.  They only make cotton polos but they are some of the softest polos you are ever going to find.

trendygolf.com are selling KJUS. Semi-norwegian brand started by skier Lasse Kjus. At least the EU store has them, maybe the US store too.

Plain style = Wolsey, Peak Performance, Tom Morris, Lyle&Scott.

And everyone should have at least one Criquet :)

I'm personally coming over to whack you over the head twice with a driver of your choice if you ever wear one of those striped RGG polos :D

The t-shirts are cool.

HA! Well then, the Citron striped polo it is! I've worn it all from loudmouth to neon colors. Pink shorts, pink belts. I've been voted best dressed in my League the last two years. I gotta keep up the reputation. LOL

I've been digging the Bermuda Sands stuff for a while.  Found some at a local course.  Pretty nice stuff, and its about 20-30 dollars cheaper in some places than some of the big brands.  I personally like the storm cotton stuff.  I've been wearing it during the colder months.

By now everyone probably thinks I'm a MasterGrip employee/troll but if you're interested in good quality... maybe excellent quality understated polo type shirts then go check these out. I had a couple a few years ago and swear they were the best. I like white a lot in the summer just because they're cooler. $11.48 each.

While at the PGA Show I had the opportunity to stop by the Under Armour Golf booth and check out all the latest in it's line of apparel, shoes and accessories.   I made off with these two cool pair of shades that we are giving away to two lucky forum members.   To be eligible, you have to be a forum member.   Then it's a simple as posting below which model you would prefer.
      1) Big Shot Tuned Golf ideal for wearing on the course during play
      2) Glimpse Tuned Recovery, designed to help your eyes de-stress after the round and return to a natural state,
Both can be used on the course and the Big Shot Golf Tuned is one of the few golf sunglasses that are officially rated safe for driving a vehicle.
So tell us below which one you would choose to win and Good Luck!!
Entries will be closed on Sunday February 3rd at 11:59 PM EST   The two winners will be announced in this thread by Tuesday February 5, 2019.

Thanks everyone for the great response to this giveaway.
Congratulations to our two winners:  Please send me a PM with your mailing address.

So this was just a random off the wall topic today, that became quite an interesting discussion, with some sides and view points i didn't think of initially.  Say  the magic Golf Genie were to grant you ONE wish, you could have 25 more yards on every drive, or a guarantee drop of 3 strokes for each round.   Which would you choose, and most importantly why?
Remember to vote in the poll.  I guess app and TT users won't be able to see it.

      Hey guys,

We have recently taken up golf and are now on a very tongue-in-cheek journey to becoming scratch golfers. Don’t worry, we’re closer to landing on the moon at this rate.

We document each round and would love to hear any feedback, tips or if anyone else around London/Essex wants to play.

Check it out, if you can!
