Aotearoa_Brad 303
We have been contacted by Srixon and given an opportunity for a number of contributing MGS members to be able to test out their newest, as yet unreleased, line of balls.I can't tell you what the ball is called, and I can't tell you about the special core composition, or why this is the best ball for you...just now... What I can tell you is that this is a great opportunity to get a jumpstart on your season with some fresh balls in your bag!To be able to give these a fair go you'll need to be in a climate that will actually enable you to hit balls. If you are interested in giving these a whirl, please reply below with your: Handicap Driver SS Current Ball More details will be provided as and when we are able to do so. Until then, your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to provide the details above... Kenny B 24,316
OK, I'll bite. HCP was 11.2 when posting ended in November. Driver ss was about 85 last year when it was warmer. Looking for a new ball now - played Srixon Z Star last year; have MG C4 to try when it gets warmer. Weather here is currently in 40's, can change anytime warmer or colder. I played today on my practice course and I was the only one there. Even the clubhouse closed before I finished! 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

revkev 22,642
No way I'm entering this one as I am fortunate enough to be in another test and I like to see MGS spreading the joy! Best of luck everyone. I got to test for Bridgestone last year at this time and ended up finding my gamer - even though it wasn't one of the balls that I tested - thanks Foz! 2 Quote Ping G410 - turned down to11.25 degrees, neutral setting - Fujikura Motore X R flex Ping G410 5-9 wood Wilson D7 forged 6-GW - Mamiya recoil 460 R flex SCOR 52,60 EVNRoll ER 5 Titleist Pro VIx optic yellow with revkev stamped on them Currently testing Edison wedges to replace SCORS that are wearing out. Also auditions for the 14th spot in the bag. Current possibilities are a Ping 26 degree hybrid - duplicates the 9 wood or 5 iron but would be used almost exclusively for chipping or Tour Exotics 3 wood simply because you can carry 14 clubs and I might occasionally hit it in certain unusual wind conditions once every four or five rounds. jdiddyesquire 349
If you're looking for a 36.4 handicapper, who plays whatever balls he happens to find in his bag on a given day, I'm your man. Swing speed 110. I post this somewhat tongue in cheek, since I'm hardly the ideal demographic for a high performance ball, but I'm an experienced blogger who will describe my experience with the ball in colorful and interesting ways. Describing balls in colorful and interesting ways is a bizarre thing to claim. Still unable to confirm the model(s) that may or may not be available for testing, but feel free to enter yourself and/or chime in with your experience with Srixon balls.
