Love the loo of the black shaft as well as that ion/chrome lookin one. Yellow would be fun against something with a matte black crown.

Rookieblue7 are my eyes playing tricks on me or does the shaft on the far left have a much wider diameter than the others? It seems extremely thick.

Could be an optical illusion in the finish. I saw what you were looking at too, but then figured reflection and shadow play were the cause. Looks like the angle of the shot played a role too as the further right in the shot means the shafts are cheated back a bit. A straight face on shot would have presented them equally.

Purely an illusion. 3 of these shafts are basically prototype graphics. The other is coming soon to a very expensive limited edition driver.

Oban makes some really quality products.  I would be very interested to see the specs on these offerings.

Played the Devotion 6 and Devotion 7 and they were solid.

I've had the purple, white, and black kiyoshi along with the devotion. I liked the characteristics of the devotion the best but I prefer something a little smoother feeling, not boardy.

I missed with my BB Alpha last year when I went with the AD DI 7x over the Oban Kiyoshi White.

I'm not a fan of any Oban with the exception of the Tour Prototype. And I've yet to like the AD DI in anything. My favorite current shaft is the UST Mamiya Chrome

I've yet to try a UST shaft since I had a V3 prototype in an R510TP

Thanks to this thread I just ordered a dual cog tip for my Devotion 6 to give it a go in my BB Alpha.

Love the yellow finish, but to date, none of the oban shafts have properties that compliment my game....  Waiting for that mid/mid combo...

Thanks for sharing those pics!  Love the Oban shafts!  I played the Oban Devotion 6 in a Nike Head for a while.  While it didn't really fit my swing, I just loved the way the shaft felt - very smooth and not boardy like the ProForce V2 I've tried in the past.  YMMV of course.

I have never had luck finding an Oban that feels right. I always like the way they look, though!

Yeah I've never been a huge oban fan. I've tried a couple of the shafts in a few different drivers, but nothing jumped at me.
