mysterygolfguy 57
Accidently left my timex weekender when I visited the range. The main reason being I have a cell phone always on me so I have zero need for it. Are you a watch wearer or not? And what is your favorite watch? Ive never worn a watch while on the course until recently. With most golf courses in my area being walking only, i have kept my watch on and used some golf GPS apps to keep my yardage. This seems to be a lot easiers and quicker than pulling out my laser for every shot.
cciciora13 855
I feel like I get distracted when I wear a watch on my wrist during a golf round. It's hard to describe but its a feel thing and definitely more mental than anything but it just doesn't feel right. So no I don't wear a watch when I play golf, but I wear a watch almost any other time. Quote In my bag: Driver: Ben Hogan GS53 10.5* Stiff Mitsubishi tensei blue Stiff 3 Wood: 939 x 15 deg. Berg Ryman 5,447
I've been wearing the same watch for nearly 15 years, picked up two off them this year though to bring into rotation eventually. One given by my girlfriend's sister and husband that I'll likely only ever wear when we're going to see them, and one as a gift for being in my friend's wedding in February. Also have a pocket watch that I plan on busting out for important trials and court appearances if I ever go back to criminal court. 3 Quote In a Hoofer Lite bag ST180, 10.5, Kuro Kage Silver TINI Dual Core 60-S Epic Flash Sub Zero, 15*, Kuro Kage Silver TINI Dual Core 60-S CBX119 18* Hybrid, Project X Evenflow Blue, 6.0 JPX 921 Hot Metal Pro 4-P, Nippon 950GH Stiff Flex Hi Toe Raw 48* (bent from 50*), 53* (bent from 54*), and 58*, Nippon 950GH Stiff Flex SIK Golf Flo-C Pro V1X, 2021 Model, #
ParFore74x 1,117
I wear a watch 95% of the time and yes I wear it while playing golf. It actually feels weird to me to not have one on. CoCoRover 24
Not a watch wearer, so I was beside myself when my wife gifted me a Garmin X10 instead of a handheld gps like I had wanted. Two rounds in and tbh I love it, the design is thin enough to not bother me. But it also performs all the basic functions I wanted in a hand held. The limited features probably he’ll make it less distracting too. I usually only play my home course but I’m rarely in the middle of the fairway, and having the yardage to the front and back of greens helps with club selection. Another added feature, you can’t forget it in the cart after your round 1 Quote Cocorover

Kegger 450
I used to wear traditional watches, and would always take them off when I played golf. I then got a Fitbit for the activity/heart rate functionality and got used to wearing it while golfing. However, the Fitbit didn't offer any golf features, and I missed the traditional style watches, so I'm now wearing a Garmin VivoActive 4. It really didn't take any extra time to get used to golfing with it on after switching from the fitbit (even though it was significantly larger), and now I get all the activity/hr features, golf GPS, and a more traditional style (I also put a stainless steel link band on it). This watch stays on all day everyday except for showers and charging . bens197 11,761
I caved and bought an Apple Watch series 5 last month. I've owned watches but I've never been a die-hard watch wearer or lover. One month in and I love it. I never thought I would want or need one and frankly I've seen several positives. First and foremost, I am no longer tethered to my phone. The cellular watch gives me the necessary updates and allows me to stream music while I work out. If you're on the fence and are considering one, PM me so I don't bore the world with an unsolicited review.
