I'm sensing some golfspy favoritism. Not finishing a round is certainly over what are score was.

Frankly, I've been surprised by the leaderboard so far.

I've still got a full foursome in the fantasy league, but I only started two of them and wasn't sure they'd make it to the weekend.  Three of my cuts, were the ones I predicted making the top 10 this weekend...

Was Jordan Spieth one of them? I had him, figured he'd be a solid top ten.

Did anybody else stagger their picks for North Course only players for the first two rounds?

I did and it paid off big time.   4 starters on Thurs (all NC) were a combined 12 under while for SC subs were 1 over.  Flipped them for Friday and the NC guys went combined 21 under and the SC guys were 3 over.    106 points in two rounds.   My big boner was dropping Harris English this week after picking him for the last 3.

Now it gets tough.

I considered doing it at the Humana as well, but the difference between the courses isn't as pronounced.   NC played 5 strokes easier for my guys.

Actually watched some golf yesterday. I'll be!

First half hour was almost unwatchable with Jim Nantz-isms, corporate plugs. Commercials before going to commercials. Cialis ads. I turned it off in disgust and came back 45 minutes later. They finally settled in by that point and were showing some golf.

Funny how prototypical the golfers are getting to be. 6' to 6'3", 180-200lbs.

I hope Spencer Levine wins it.

Oh, and they have cured me of ever wanting to see another Farmers ad ever again.

Great finish. I really like Jason Day

He's one of the best of the young players on tour today, and seems to perform his best under pressure.

Was really enjoying the tournament, especially on Sunday with the tight board. But, cutting away from the playoff to go to "60 Minutes" at 6PM and leaving anyone without cable with a "thanks, but no thanks for watching the last two days," really was not appreciated at all. That was horrible.

Was the final playoff hole even close, or did JB hand it to Day?

I was EXTREMELY upset with that and I think it was bone-headed for CBS to do it.  Even though I get the golf channel, I wasn't recording the tournament since I was watching and recording it live on CBS.  My wife had dinner ready JUST as they finished the first playoff hold and by the time I got back to the living room 60 FREAKING MINUTES was on and I switched to the Golf Channel just in time to see the final putt...

It was a good one.  Both stuffed their 3rd into the 18th, then on the 16th, JB hit it over the green and Day hit it to 12' and had a 2 putt par to win.

Thanks. That 16th looks tough, and JB playing a fade didn't help his cause on that hole. Must come over it trying to nuke a high cut in there perfectly?

Thought they should have moved the tees up on 18. That's a fun risk/reward that they un-risk/rewarded and made into a 3-shotter.
