JBones
He was already hurting, then played a great shot from a nasty lie and I figured he would be done after that, but he ended up making it a couple more holes. TIBA_Putt - Kyle
Maybe he's playing bad because he's swinging poorly which exacerbates an injury. When he swings well, he plays well and doesn't reinjure the low back. I'm all for him coming back and getting back to form and playing good golf. Golf needs him still. He's good for the game. More people pay attention when he plays. It is getting hard to watch him come out each time and struggle. TIBA Putt - Discover your best stroke. Kor.A.Door
He needs to talk to freddie, since he went through back struggles not to long ago. I'm afraid that Tiger needs to change the way he swings, and find a way that doesn't put so much torque on the.lower back, he can't continue to swing all out with that much torque, his body can't take it, Lefties are always in their Right Mind

revkev
Me too Zeasy All good things must come to an end I'm afraid. Some it's injury, some it's age, some it's a lack of interest, some just fade off into the sunset. With Tiger I think it's the age/ injury combo. Long live Rory! GolfSpy Barbajo
It's getting harder and harder to watch. Willie Mays........ I remember seeing him with the Mets in the '73 World Series - it was tough to watch. And he wasn't much older then than Tiger is now. Difference is Willie just lost it -- I believe Tiger is not right physically and his "I can do anything I need to do to win" mindset has been missing since 2009... I'm not sure that Tiger is missing the "I can do anything mindset" so much as the "I can do anything" ABILITY.. I don't think he's truly adjusting to the changes in his body, and making allowances for them. I'm sure he's able to convince himself in practice that he's "game ready," but under the pressure of competition he gets into situations where he feels he needs to push his limits. His body is pusing back now, in ways he just can't seem to accept.
