This really doesn't surprise me as much as it should. Of the couple of times I've hit the aero burner it has given me some impressive results. I'm sure with a proper fit it would be a monster

Count me among the not so surprised.   I greatly prefered the head to the R15, but loathed the fact that I'd have to do a real fitting to get just the right shaft.

Worth mentioning (maybe...) in addition to the AeroBurner driver, Dustin Johnson also put a #3HL AeroBurner Fairway in his bag this week. This is notably because DJ has been particularly reticent to replace his 3 wood. Prior to the Farmers Open, he still had an R9 fairway in the bag.

It's just a beast. I may put the mini version in the bag when it comes out if it performs as well as the big one.

I did like it way more than the R15 - but that might have been my SLDR hangover coming through. That Mini version does sound intriguing...if it's as good at the X2 Hot 2 Deep, that you'll have something...

Personally I really disliked the Aeroburner. There was something strange about the sound. I hit it at a demo day and the R15 was much better for me in distance. Maybe with a different shaft it would be different, but I'm not convinced.
