Media Kit - PUMA Titan Tour Golf Shoe

You may have already seen the new PUMA Titan Tour (original coverage compliments of the self-described "Best Looking Man in Golf"). What I didn't get a chance to show you was the pretty damn cool media kit PUMA put together for the new shoe.

Total case of bad timing (which is why pics are limited this time)...I won't get into the details, but on the day the kit arrived, I had already been to Radio Shack, so you know...issues.

Anyway, the Titan Tour kit actually shipped in two separate packages. The first contained the Titan Tour shoes (billed by PUMA as "The Coolest Shoe in Golf"), and a new PUMA Polo, while the second was a Styrofoam cooler (sourced from ecreamery.com) filled with 4 pints of Titan Tour Crunch and packed in dry ice.

My daughter is already a big PUMA fan, but the addition of icre cream has pretty much cemented the deal. As far as she's concerned, PUMA is now the Frozen of golf companies.

It's been my recent tradition to travel to the PGA Show with a new pair of adizeros, but since adidas didn't send a pre-show kit (adizero has been put in timeout for at least this season), I decided to roll the dice on the Titan Tour being comfortable enough to get through a walking round at Streamsong Red.

I'm happy to report that the Titan Tour was as comfortable as it needed to be. I didn't think about my feet the entire round. That is to say I was never explicitly aware of that fact that I was wearing new shoes, and that (along with not slipping) is really all you can ask for.

Weather was reasonably mild (low 70s), so I can't yet speak to whether or not Titan Tour is as cool as PUMA claims.
