Just saw that email too.  Bombtech seems to be expanding beyond driver very quickly.

 

Much like the wedge deal though it seems to be short on detail.  Unlike the wedge deal there doesn't seem to be a big difference in price between it's competition.

 

Personally I'm not going to drop $39 on an unproven "tour" ball when there are so many other great options out there for the same or much less money.  On my list of smaller ball companies I want to try this is at the bottom.

Me neither, especially since the MG C4 ball is only $20/dozen..... that's half price.

Yeah, $39 seems awful pricey for an unproven 3 piece ball with an Ionomer cover. I can buy a doz. B330's or Pro-V's for that right now.

I am going to try these first thing when the snow melts. The MG C4's not the bombtech. I agree way too expensive for an unproven ball.

If I'm going to stop playing ProV1s, it sounds like it would be in favor of the MGs - not these.

If I were them, I'd advertise them as the least expensive premium ball on the market, maybe sell them for $20-25 a dozen and really get people to try them. Or, get a 3 ball sleeve with the purchase of the wedge and a dozen with the purchase of a driver.

Whatever the cover, don't try to tell me it's "designed to reduce side spin". It may be lower spinning overall, but there is no such thing as side spin somehow independent of backspin. There is just spin and one ball can be higher or lower spinning than another. As soon as I see that "designed to reduce sidespin" nonsense, all I see is sales gimmick.

I am a little suspect since the ball in the picture clearly has their logo photoshopped on it and is not the actual product - wonder if they even have them in the warehouse yet?
