KCLeo12
Well being laid up I am getting bored and so I am going to do something I have been wanting to do for awhile. I am going to redo the paint fill on all my clubs since I have plenty of time I will probably do a few different colors and see how it turns out. I will be updating this post with pics as I go along so stay tuned. PlaidJacket
Here's my $5 paint-fill setup. I've found the little micro brushes work fine. They are only $2 for about 10 of them. And reusable if you want. There's probably better methods available but this works for me. The fill job in the photos have quite a few rounds on them. I advise to use plenty of paint and fill completely. I use a razor blade after it's dried to scrape off the excess. My jobs are not "pro' quality but it works. You'll figure it out if you're a first timer. It's easy. And besides, it's a kind of a fun thing to do on a day when you can't play. People will notice. Severtheties
Well here is some progress so far (not to hijack this thread hopefully) Here is what I got to start: Then I cleaned the sole's real well with some nail polish removed and started to apply paint. I tried a few different ways on a few different clubs and I've found (so far) that doing multiple thin coats and layering it seems to have the best result. Here is one that I've finished. I'm still going to paint the back of the clubs too. I will update when I'm all finished. I'm excited to see what others have come up with. Kor.A.Door
You can easily use nail polish. And they already have the brushes in them, and if you have any women or daughters around, it doesn't cost anything. I just use the brush to paint it in dab, stroke, whatever you can do to get the paint in the crevasses, for clean up, take a paper towel and fold it up dab a little polish remover on it, and then rub quickly back and forth over top of the paint fill to remove the paint from outside the fill area it really is very simple.
