Boredom has set in going to do paint fill on all my clubs

My neck just got a crick in it. Ha. But nice pictures Sever. Looks kind of like what I've done. I thought the next time I do a fill job that I might look into trying some sort of "tube" acrylic paint. My thinking is that it's thick like toothpaste and would fill easily. Anyone tried this?

Well being laid up I am getting bored and so I am going to do something I have been wanting to do for awhile. I am going to redo the paint fill on all my clubs since I have plenty of time I will proba

Nail polish.  I raid my wife's nail polish bag whenever I get the urge to do this.  I must have 200 colors to choose from.  It's surprising how durable nail polish is.

Which brand do you girls prefer? CoverGirl or Revlon?

I've never tried it, but one benefit of the thinner model paint is that it spreads out very easily.  With thicker paint you might have issues getting into the little nooks and cranny's.

I'd agree. Although I haven't tried it either some of the spaces on these clubs are just tiny.

I'll work on the pictures. I tried to quickly figure out how to turn them and couldn't find anything haha

Are you on a windows pc?  If so just open them with the standard windows photo viewer.  Then use the circular arrows on the bottom to rotate the pictures.  It autosaves whichever way you leave it rotated.

I've done this as well.  If she has clear coat you even put that over the top to make it a little more durable.

Nope. I'm Mac everything. the weird thing is the way they are saved on my computer they are upright correctly. It wasn't until I uploaded them that I had a problem.

I am Mac everything too and never had a problem. Photos on an iPhone can be flipped on the phone, which I do sometimes, or import into iPhoto and crop, size, adjust pic, then export for posting.

You can easily use nail polish. And they already have the brushes in them, and if you have any women or daughters around, it doesn't cost anything. I just use the brush to paint it in dab, stroke, whatever you can do to get the paint in the crevasses, for clean up, take a paper towel and fold it up dab a little polish remover on it, and then rub quickly back and forth over top of the paint fill to remove the paint from outside the fill area it really is very simple.

Here is the removal process with the CitriStrip I applied it and waited 3 hours and it all just wiped out and then used a tooth brush to get the fine stuff out.

You want thinner, not thicker because the thin spreads evenly where thick paint bubbles and looks uneven.

I've been wanting to do this on my "new" Maxfli Revolution irons (1999) that I'm playing this year. This thread may have pushed me over the edge! Looking forward to seeing other's results (the ones posted so far look great).

Great choice in irons, that's my backup set.  Bought some new old stock and built them up 2 seasons ago.

I've done quite a bit of paintfill over the years.

Tamiya paints are where it's at. The clear paints are absolutely fantastic.

Some autostores carry Tal-Strip. If you can find that stuff, it's the absolute best thing out there for removing already existing paintfill.

Here are pics of a few things I've done in the past:

I did this with my FG V2s (cough in the classifieds for sale cough). Used model/hobby paint. Now I'm debating doing it to my new MP-H5. Would likely do the same green and yellow since I have a set of Lamkin wraps in Masters colors. Hate that I can't paint fill the Nikes I have due to the metal badges in the cavities.

I have some vapor pro combos that I would like to try some paint fill on but not sure how to do it. The idea is to switch the "volt" color to a bone white to match the black and white multi compound grips I'm gonna install, any suggestions on what type of paint to use? I've heard people even say they've used nail polish but I don't know about that. Anyway looking forward to hearing yall's input
