Replacing grips for this year and paying more attention to size throughout.

Seem to be liking face down, or name at back of shaft really, more and more.

Got some Iomic's coming for my irons and dont know if that is doable there yet but put a Star-  Tour Star - reduced taper - on my driver and reallllllly like it and the results. Tend to mix and match for clubs and how much hands or choke I might need for the shot and woods and wedges have thier own type too, hence consistent size a major goal this time.

This is subbing in for a Ping G Crossover 5X/24° that I like but am not totally crazy about. The OS has a large face similar to the Crossover but a smaller profile front to back and I think .. didn't check it .. a little less offset also.

My putting has been waaay off so far this year, and this putter is big and ugly and fat and pretty much the opposite of what I've been playing..... Gonna use it for practice for awhile (while I work on my putting stroke and alignment) and see what happens.

MUCH improved. I got them bent exactly to the specs of my Mizzy's as well. I'm playing like trash right now bc of a lack of play/practice but I think I will like them much better than before.

After spending most of the winter researching a new putter and deciding 98% on evnroll i had a chance to demo the Bobby Grace sure fir F-18. Like so much i bought 2 1 for NJ 1 for SC. Also got 3 new score wedges from PGASS clearance bin as back ups since they are no longer made and I love them. Now in the market for a new deiver for my SC vag keaning towards a shorter shaft like 44ish but will be testing asap.

Finally had a chance to play more and went to get fitted for Mizuno Mp 5s. Got fitted and went with Project X6.5 LZ shafts. They feel "smoother" than regular px shafts, still unsure about them.

They look stunning though!

I will second this! Though some of the people who "remember back in my day" will say its more of a hybrid utility 1i then a true 1i, regardless. Its surprisingly easy to hit.

To those people I'll say, everything is easier to hit now days. Look at the difference in driver size. I've hit butter knives too. But why would i do that now that i dont have to? Lol

In a weak moment, I ordered some golf gloves that have copper three throughout the glove. Since my arthritis is in both hands, I ordered them for both hands....cost with shipping was $42.

 

They also have a silicone surface on the palms that is very tacky.

I recently picked up a Callaway Black Matte Mack Daddy PM-Grind 58 degree Wedge.  Callaway Pre Owned had a 50 percent trade in promotion and I actually have a little credit left from the deal..

I like my SS grips and this one will match my putter color nicely.

Also, gonna install the black heat shrink on the shaft before grip install.

The USGA approved plates have "DVD" stamped on them.
