Was really hoping they'd launch the 1W in all black but sadly they didn't for whatever silly reason so I'm going with the 2W. I went to get fit for the F7 driver and - at the place I got fit (joe&leigh's in Easton, MA) - you get a 40 dollar credit towards the purchase of a driver. Since I "won" the driver they gave me a 40 dollar credit towards any club in the shop. Unbeknownst to me, I had to use it within 10 days. Today was day 10(!) and the first real chance I had to go to the shop. For those of you that don't know, Joe & Leigh's has been around a long time and actually started 3balls.com; they sold it off to globalgolf but they have a pretty good assortment of used clubs. I was digging through the clubs and looking for that diamond in the rough that wasn't a fortune. Tried an old Ping Rapture 3w which was fantastic off the tee but not-so-good off the deck. Tried a g30 2 hybrid... it was okay ... but I was really looking for a 3w. I have a couple of older Titleist's that are okay but not fantastic. I was really looking for a f7 3wood but there weren't any used ones and the new ones were 200. I found a F6 but it didn't have the right shaft... a couple of older Titleist's... an almost new Epic ($190(!) and I wasn't that impressed with it when I hit. Looked really cool though...that fiber crown is awesome! kept digging and searching and there...it...was... I'd heard a lot of stories about Tour Edge Exotics and how the face was really hot, but I'd never really tried them and took them too seriously. Until Today I found an almost-brand-new-looks-like-it-might-have-been-used-once TEE e8 3wood with a stiff Fujikura shaft in nearly perfect condition. I couldn't believe my eyes and almost tripped going up the stairs to the hitting bays... Teed it up and ... FIRECRACKER !!!! .... this bad boy was the real deal. Off the deck, on the tee... just {{exploding}} off the face... I really thought my glasses were dirty... I now knew what people meant when they talked about the Exotics fairway woods. If you've never tried one you've got to at least hit one of the newer ones.... this company might just make the best fairway woods on the market. This is probably the best used club I've ever found. Pics below; I can't wait to get this bad boy out on the course. I doubt it will ever leave my bag. For those of you that don't know, Joe & Leigh's has been around a long time and actually started 3balls.com; they sold it off to globalgolf but they have a pretty good assortment of used clubs. I was digging through the clubs and looking for that diamond in the rough that wasn't a fortune. Tried an old Ping Rapture 3w which was fantastic off the tee but not-so-good off the deck. Tried a g30 2 hybrid... it was okay ... but I was really looking for a 3w. I have a couple of older Titleist's that are okay but not fantastic. I was really looking for a f7 3wood but there weren't any used ones and the new ones were 200. I found a F6 but it didn't have the right shaft... a couple of older Titleist's... an almost new Epic ($190(!) and I wasn't that impressed with it when I hit. Looked really cool though...that fiber crown is awesome! kept digging and searching and there...it...was... I'd heard a lot of stories about Tour Edge Exotics and how the face was really hot, but I'd never really tried them and took them too seriously. Until Today I found an almost-brand-new-looks-like-it-might-have-been-used-once TEE e8 3wood with a stiff Fujikura shaft in nearly perfect condition. I couldn't believe my eyes and almost tripped going up the stairs to the hitting bays... Teed it up and ... FIRECRACKER !!!! .... this bad boy was the real deal. Off the deck, on the tee... just {{exploding}} off the face... I really thought my glasses were dirty... I now knew what people meant when they talked about the Exotics fairway woods. If you've never tried one you've got to at least hit one of the newer ones.... this company might just make the best fairway woods on the market. This is probably the best used club I've ever found. Pics below; I can't wait to get this bad boy out on the course. I doubt it will ever leave my bag. Cost me 19.96... it was 75.00 ... had a 40.00 credit and I traded in my old Titleist 906F4.
