Picked up the 8+ driver today black head.

I did receive those Hogan wedges recently. Right now they are 3 for 240 which is a ridiculous steal.

 

I grabbed two of them for 160.

 

On the prowl for driver soon. It's not a need but at G30 I'm enough generations behind to seriously look.

 

I will probably wait until Most Wanted Driver time.

I should have waited for you to to post this about the G30 before buying one on the Bay, although I did get a great deal on it in like new condition with the tool still in the unopened bag and a brand new head cover.   Hice my thread the other day about gong back in models..ha

Well I came to an agreement on a good deal for an F7 hybrid this morning. That position of my bag has the highest turnover rate so I'm hoping this one sticks.

 

Then I was feeling frisky so I got new grips for my irons to breathe some fresh air into them. Pure Pro midsized grips in alternating blue/white.

 

I got a grip kit to put a fresh grip on my driver and finally got around to doing that last night. I forgot how enjoyable it is to do your own grips. It's like you feel connected as you do the work.

Might pull my 4i out of the bag so I can keep my fairway at 15, use my F7 at 16.5 and launcher 19 hybrid.

Went to hit & buy a F8 3/4 wood.

Left buying a F7 3/4 fairway & F7 3/4 hybrid.

Almost pulled the trigger on a used set of Bridgestone J15CB with steel fiber shafts.

I think you're on to something. The course we played yesterday was very much "target golf" so I hit a lot of the F7 off the tee. 7 times to be exact.

 

Can you guess how many found the fairway with distance? I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with heaaaavvveeeennnnnnn.

 

 

 

 

 

I played it once from the rough and hit it in the hazard. In fairness, it was totally the wrong club for the situation but I got caught across the fairway on a CPO day like a rookie.
