I think you're on to something. The course we played yesterday was very much "target golf" so I hit a lot of the F7 off the tee. 7 times to be exact.

 

Can you guess how many found the fairway with distance? I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with heaaaavvveeeennnnnnn.

 

 

 

 

 

I played it once from the rough and hit it in the hazard. In fairness, it was totally the wrong club for the situation but I got caught across the fairway on a CPO day like a rookie.

I'll have to see how my set up goes, but

I really only use my 4i for bump and runs on a long greens.

I think Cobra's gonna do well in Most Wanted Testing this year, and if Ricky can do well against a full field, they can get some more traction

Well I got the new cobra 3wood, bio cell in blue, set it to 13*, and took the driver out of the bag. The cobra 3 wood is about an inch longer than my TEE 3wood, so having it set to 13 degrees should give me a little more distance from the tee. I will most likely only use this off the tee, but I may try it off the deck if the opportunity comes up, it depends on how i hit it, whether I feel comfortable enough to try it.

It's in another thread, but I just picked up my new JPX900 Forged 4-GW along with a CLK Hybrid 19-deg and a S18 56.10.

 

I'll post again when I replace my RBZ driver and 3W this Spring.

Great stuff man. Anxious to hear what you think about the s18 wedge. Haven't read much about it.

I had a $10 reward check from Dick's recently so SWMBO said I should go to Dick's. Well, I got there and looked st the gloves....did not need any since I had recently ordered some from MGGolf. I then looked at the socks but decided I did not need anymore. So I went aisle by aisle and looked at all the Golf merchandise until I got to the Grips. I did not need any as I have several sets at home, then I saw a “Clearance” tag on some Winn DriTacs. I asked what the “Clearance “ meant and was told the price would get additional mark down at the register. So I picked up 4 DriTacs(all they had) and proceeded to checkout, where I learned they were only $5 each. So I got 4 DriTacs for $10!

 

When I got home I immediately fired up my air compressor and replaced the worn out DriTac on my Paderson Kinetix shaft I am using on my Wilson Triton. Now I can change it out every 6 months.....for two years!

I also go to Bonita every October. (usually) Great area! Are you using one of the coupon books? (Shark Shootout, and there's another tied to a Senior Tour event I think) We use those in Oct and the deals at private clubs are fantastic! Enjoy your trip!!
