What Have You Bought Lately? (CHA - Club Ho's Anonymous)

Much much bigger. Ton more selection, not just clubs but apparell and accessories as well.

A lot more demo clubs as well by miles. Pretty much have a fitting cart for every OEM.

At the stores I've been too. Atlanta and Orlando the staffs we're very good and professional as well.

Only wish we had one in Maryland.

Just don't try to buy a Scotty grip (see my previous story), and don't plan on using your player rewards on anything but stuff like tees or towels... pretty much every OEM is excluded and you don't get and points for Ping or Titleist purchases.

Their corporate folks are great to work with. I know a few of them and order our tournament stuff at work through them. The store I frequent used to be great but the staff has pretty much all turned over and it's not the same now. The store manager there is great when he's there, but that's rare

In The Bag
Driver: TaylorMade M2 (2017) w/ Project X T1100 HZRDUS Handcrafted 65x
Strong 3 wood: Taylormade M1 15* w/ ProjectX T1100 HZRDUS handcrafted 75x
3 Hybrid: Adams PRO 18* w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4 Hybrid: Adams PRO 20* (bent to 21*) w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4-AW: TaylorMade P770 w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Black Onyx S400

SW: 56* Scratch Tour Dept(CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
LW: 60* Scratch Tour Department (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
XW: 64* Cally XForged Vintage w/ DG X100 8 iron tiger stepped
Putter: Nike Method Prototype 006 at 34"

Have a ton of back-ups in all categories, but there are always 14 clubs in the bag that differ depending on the course and set-up. Bomb and gouge. Yes, I'm a club gigolo.

If you know ans see any of the corporate guys, if you could ask them if they have any plans for the (DC) Baltimore/Northern VA area. Im sure they know what they are doing, but I think they are missing out on a huge market with several of the highest income zip codes in the country.

So I said earlier that I purchased a TEE EX9 3 wood the other day as “like new”, for cheap. it arrived today, and what I meant by like new was New in Box. This is brand new with tags and wrap on it. I like getting surprises like this.

I read a bit more into their business plans after hearing about their choice to open up here in Indy. They are taking over a spot that used to be a Babies R Us after they went out of business. Looks like this is going to be a common thing as PGA SS is going to do this elsewhere around the country.

Oh!!! We just had a babies r us close a couple months ago. It's about 6 miles from where I live

I told my fiance one day, "that store size and location would be perfect for a PGA SS".

She agreed. Even though she doesn't golf, she likes wearing golf style clothes.

I think I had some old points on a credit card that were expiring so they got me a bag. If I have five people in my house golf shopping I will be broke in no time. I do enough damage to my bank account by myself.

So a few years back I switched from spiked to spikeless shoes. I bought my 1st pair of Adicross V shoes. Oh what a feeling! They were so much more comfortable and flexible. Well after 3 pairs of those, I began to look around and discovered something..

I started another thread called "non-golf golf shoes" that discusses the variety of shoes out there similar to spikeless golf shoes but not categorized for golf. I realize that the purists don't much appreciate this approach but there are a number of really good options out there. And because they don't have the category "golf" attached to them, go for a substantial amount less. So here is my latest find.

Asics "Frequent" trail runners. As you can see, the tread is quite turf friendly without being overly abrasive on greens and grass. The soles are a tad more rigid than my daily runners and they sit fairly flat and provide good lateral support. They breathe very well and have a good amount of water resistance due to being a "trail" shoe. Played in them Sunday and not an ounce of pain in my feet. Grip and support was as good as it gets! $38 out the door and I dare say they are more comfy and supportive than my Adicross.

I love the Truvis ball, but cannot spend 45 a dozen. That the biggest reason I don't use the ProV. I can't justify it for the tileost ball why would I justify it for the Truvis ball. It makes me sad. I have been using the yellow version of the MTB Red, and I think I'm going to go with that for a while. I like the Black a little better, but can't get along with white balls for some reason. So MTB red Yellow it is

I can't speak for that exact model, but Asics are my brand of choice for running/athletic shoes and they always fit me true to size. I have a hair more room in them than I would in Nike or Adidas. Not anything that makes me say "this is loose", rather "this is quite comfortable".

So depending on what your point of reference is, I wear 12 in Vans which I wear 98% of the time but most of my runners are 11.5. I initially got the all black in 12 and they were a little bigger than I like. I found these at Big 5 and just wanted to try them on to check the sizing.. Well I really liked the color and the 11.5 fit perfectly. They were on sale for $39 and I had a 10% email coupon.

SeeMore Si2 putter. 37”, 2* of loft, 69* lie angle. I sent video to their rep, and went off his recommendation.
