PING Apologist #9
Snagged an Ernest Sports ES12 from @GolfSpy MPR for one heck of deal-Thanks again buddy! I've been wanting something to (literally) monitor my golf performance for a long time, and I simply couldn't pass up this deal. "Not a Trackman" as stated, but heck, it's better than guessing. Also grabbed up another shirt from my pal at Golf Sidekick. If you've never seen his YouTube vids, check him out. Kenny B
A person who has been "shut in" and hasn't been able to play golf or swing a club in over a month shouldn't be allowed on the internet!! So, late one night with a $20 off coupon, I decided to try out a new wedge... a 2019 Callaway 54º PM Grind. First year that the PM Grind has been offered less than 56º. M. Parsons
Pretty excited about this: just grabbed an Evnroll Tour Stroke trainer from eBay for $135. Plastic still on the grip. Considering that they're $150+23 shipping direct from Evnroll, I'm happy about the price. I'm massively intrigued by the concept of this. I'll be writing up my thoughts when I get a chance to work with it.Does this putter have the Sweet Face Technology as well, it didn't look like it in the pics on their website? deejaid
Whether a man/woman plays with soft or hard balls doesn't matter as long as they produce..... I like the Callaway Super Soft balls myself. The lower compression balls do feel much better off the persimmon heads, although the Vice Pro Plus flew farther and is 100 compression.I’ve come to like the Top Flite Gamer Urethane, they seem a few yards shorter when I put them head to head against Pro V1’s or the AVX though, but the feel is really nice. The Zip ball says high spin, which caught my eye. Most modern balls are low spin off the driver and higher spin off the irons and wedges. Well playing persimmon woods you need more spin off the driver. Hopefully these will do the trick.Like you Ole Gray, I’ll play whatever ball, doesn’t matter as long as it feels good and goes long.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk fozcycle and Ronoc 2 Quote WITB: Stan Thompson “Reactionizer” persimmon woods 1-4 Spalding Tour Edition 3-PW Spalding Top-Flite E.V.A. Popular Post MattF
Just got back from getting fitted for a new driver. True Golf Fit had me in an M6 or TS2 but the fitting doesn't lie. I tried the PXG, Ping G410 LST, Mizuno 190, TS2, M5, M6 and Epic Flash. And the winner, which was a complete surprise to me, was the M5.
