I picked up this Cuisinart 2 Qt Ice Cream maker

Fun facts for the Cuisinart: you can drop in drinks, let them churn for 20 minutes and make your own Slushy type drinks. Even throw in some alcoholic beverages and have an adult version . Mike’s Hard Lemonade comes to mind...

Hits the spot on a really hot day

And yes, these little Cuisinart’s are awesome for ice cream as well!

I bought a minty 18* Adams DHY head from @chisag awhile back, and after much hunting, finally got my hands on the right shaft. It’s all put together and ready for action but my wrist is still feeling too hinky to compress a golf ball. Can’t wait to get this fairway finder out on the course.

I also found a bundle of several dozen NOS balls at the thrift store last weekend. I think they’re neat and pondered taking some swipes with the vintage bag to get the full experience, but I’m afraid these ancient surlyn covers may shatter like rock candy.

I drove 11 hours back down to SC on Sunday, which threw off my sleep schedule. I found myself on the CPO site at 2am Tuesday morning, and noticed they had listed the Epic Flash woods and '19 Apex iron lines minutes earlier.

I resisted getting a set of the Apex with 760 recoils, but I took a flyer on a Like New Epic Flash 9* driver with the Evenflow 55 regular flex shaft at $327.

I've never hit the Epic Flash, never hit an Evenflow shaft, and I'm very happy with my PING G400 Max. I made the purchase at 230am. What could possibly go wrong? 🙄

Found a $100 shop credit card from a club in the Island that I won like two years ago. Stopped in today and got two dozen balls.

Oh, And I bought a set of Epic Pro irons today as well. Had a set when they came out the I am not sure got the attention they deserved before I dumped them.

Mizuno GT 180 3W with stiff MRC Tensei White shaft. The 15 degree model that's adjustable up to 17 degrees.

I hit a bunch of different three woods today in testing. My swing was not great while demoing, so I was relying on appearance and feel. I know the Mizuno did not score well in the fairway test last year, but it feels very nice and on good swings the ball really hops off the face. I liked the feeling of the Tensei White, too.

I demo'ed: Mizuno GT 180, Tour Edge CBX, Cobra F9, Wilson C300, and the Srixon F65. Immediately hated the feel of the C300. I wanted to like the Cobra, but I just didn't get along with it. The CBX face felt super hot and had the HZRDUS Yellow shaft that I love, but it has a lot of offset and it just didn't work for me. It came down to the Srixon and Mizuno, with the Mizuno winning because of the shaft and adjustability.

Price was good, too. $68.99 for a brand new in plastic wood with matching headcover. Can't complain about that at all.

Found a practically new used Scotty 5.5m the other day. This was what I wanted last year but couldn't pull the trigger at the new price so I went to the shop to grab a Ping Tyne and ended up with the Cleveland Elevado.

The tow hang in the scotty feels so much better. I also like the line on the top of the face and the two long alignment lines. I feel so much more confident where I am lined up. I also like the feel of the face better. The elevado just felt like mush and I found distance control to be tricky at times.

I handed the elevado down to my wife and it is working out for her. Also snagged a Cobra F6 combo set in senior flex for her with an aero burner 3 wood. I figure it can't hurt to flood her with golf gifts to lessen the impact of coming home with a set of ping glide 3.0 wedges, no?

Wife needed new golf shoes.  She bought a pair of spikeless FJ a few months ago; comfy but not too good on the wet morning grass.

Stopped at Redtail GC in Beaverton, OR and she tried on several shoes... spiked and spikeless.  She has difficult feet to fit, but FJ seem to fit the best.  The spikeless FJ shoes had a more aggressive sole than her current shoes, and the spiked shoes were the DNA model.  She couldn't make up her mind which pair to get, so I said "get 'em both."  Good choice on my part!!  They were on sale and got both pair for $133 and no tax in Oregon!!!

So the Epic Flash driver I told you about came Friday evening. It had a chip on the crown right where it meets the face. You couldn’t see it at address, but I’m anal, so I sent it back Saturday. My PING G400 max seems grateful. It performed very well today, so no regrets.

I may have bought a PING Sigma anser putter yesterday however... 😇

I'm in the same boat.  Went out yesterday and noticed that the soles were separating in the middle of my black pair of nike's.  Looks like the cause is from a combination of heat failure from leaving them in the car trunk all summer and age.
