No I actually found the set on eBay. The clubs couldn’t have been used for more than 5 or 6 rounds. The 5 iron still had the shrink wrap on it.
I was actually just going to buy new but when I went to pay there was no PayPal option. I found and bought this set before Jason got back to me with an option for using PayPal. I stuck with the used set mainly to save a few bucks.
I didn’t realize they sold used sets until I seen the Tweet from them about a used set for $309.

On a side note I did send an email Friday night about possibly purchasing heads only as I didn’t care for the tour v shafts when I tried them. Jason actually called me Saturday morning to discuss what I was looking for and to explain why they don’t SEND out heads only. He did however mention an option to purchase heads only and send the shafts I am going to install to them and they would install them for me. I prefer to do my own club work for the most part so I declined. It is a pretty neat option for those interested though. He stated that they really want to control the quality of the builds for their irons and I don’t think I can blame him for that.

They have a great business model and if these perform half as well as they look, I think my search for irons will be over. So far the only thing I would change is having them slightly shorter heel to toe but that is easily forgotten.

Went a little crazy at the local GG the other day.  I went in to get a Clicgear 3.5 for my middle-schooler.  No problem there; she liked the white one.  But right next to them, they were clearing out the old Sun Mountain bags.  And my 2.5 is looking a little ragged.  So I just had to pick up a new one for $100 off.  And wouldn't you know it, they're clearing out golf shirts as well.  So the kid got another bright pink shirt.  $440 later, I finally got myself out of there

I won a work fantasy baseball league.  Finished out my wedges, getting the Cobra One length Gap, sand and Lob wedge.  Also found an O-works Jailbird mallet for a still to mess around with.  It won't replace my Betti blade, but it's something to play with.  Will likely pass that on to the wife or my son.

Ordered a ball marker from Kraken Golf. It’ll have the mascots from the 3 Universities I’ve attended on one side, then on the other side my name and my wife’s and our anniversary date in the middle, with the three kids’ names encircling along the outside border.

Looking forward to seeing the mock-up!!!

Been looking for a putter to do some experimenting with; I wanted something with adjustable weights so I could see how different weights impacted my stroke.   Gone through a lot of putters in my golfing career, but never had an 8802 style putter.  A while ago I saw Chisag's Bobby Grace putter and really liked the look.     Found a used 6330 on eBay so I figured I would bid;  ended up wining and the putter arrived today.    Current headweight is 350gr so I am going to see if I can find some lighter and heavier weights to try and get the putter dialed in.   Feels pretty head heavy so I may also try some counterbalancing.   Looking forward to some winter fun.

Had the Callaway tips pulled on a few Graphite Design shafts i had lying around and had Titleist tips installed. Now the bag is officially ready for Florida.

YEAH! Thanks to @GolfSub70 and especially their fearless leader Jason. I have to wait until the thumb heals but I can't wait to hit this one.



I asked that they not put a grip on because of my obsession with Pure grips, so they sent me a hat instead. As well as some tees and a nice personal note.





And I was very happy to see that I could get an Even Flow Blue shaft for a $20 upgrade.
