Me getting a new putter helps my game as much as me getting new golf socks or a new hat. Although a new putter is much better. My wife put the under/over on new putters at 6 when I head to AZ alone for five days.

Went to the Portland Golf Show and was able to keep my wallet in my pocket minus a few gloves.   Hit several Mizuno irons and passed on a great deal from Fiddlers Green who is offering 15% during the show on Mizuno.  If I wasnt nursing an injury, Id went for it. Need to find my groove before I get fitted and drop $1300 on irons.

Ferrules arrived yesterday. It’ll be a few weeks before I get these assembled and playable but the tease looks really nice. BB&F Co. sends two stickers and a nice pouch with their shipment.

Same with my wife. I have just moved the bar to a level that I am not sure what it takes to get the look. Best I can tell is it is somewhere between a full PXG bag and a Hellcat. As long as I stay in that range I think I am safe.

Sold a ton of putters B4 moving to FL but most of them were Wall Hangers and never saw grass. Mills, Byron Morgan’s, Lajosi, Nead and many Scottys.

... Awesome. I played P790's with Recoil 95 Prototype shafts for 2 years and absolutely loved them! I will be playing 2019 P790s with Steelfiber 95's but reserve the right to go back to my Recoils. I'd wish you luck with them but you won't need it.

This arrived yesterday. Hit the range this morning and played 9 where I only used it once. So far so good. This needs to work because I simply cannot hit my 3 wood off the deck.

Bought a Ping G400 LST, gonna see if this is the driver to finally bump my 910d2 out the bag. I’ve tested and gamed other drivers over the years but always went back to my Titleist.

... What a start to 2020. The herniated disc I suffered thru in December set my entire season back. Thankfully some serious PT has me finally back on track but some family issues pushed my winter in Phoenix to Spring in Phoenix. I am not complaining considering some posts I have read here about fellow MGI brethren's troubles because there are always others in much worse shape than you are. I try and live my life being grateful for what I do have, not what I don't have. That said, I hope to be in Phoenix by the middle off March and have a lot of golf and equipment to catch up on. 

... First up will be the Cobra Speedzone Xtreme. I thought the F8 was one of the most forgiving drivers Cobra has produced and the F9 was one of the fastest and longest. I would not be "upgrading" to a Speedzone driver in 2020 that would be marginally better than my F9, and maybe not any better at all. But according to some engineers at Cobra, the Speedzone Xtreme just might be a combination of the best of the F8 and F9. I will start with my Tensei Orange but I also have an Aldila White 130 on the way as well as my Atmos Tour Spec Blue. I have to say that judging by pictures I was not too sure about the wrap around milled face coming up on the crown, and thought it might be distracting. But like many photo's, in person it looks very different, especially down on the ground in the address position where it looks very nice. That was a pleasant surprise. After playing it awhile I will post my thoughts and hope to compare it to the Mavrik and ST200 as well.
