Very uneven looking and has a sparkle finish underneath so it looks like Vokey is using a different coating than in the past. SM7 was easy to turn raw. Maybe it will last longer for those that like the black look but it is a b!tch to get to a raw condition. Might be the undercoat usually copper flash or the metal prep.I had a Tad Moore putter project years ago that was trashed and when I stripped it and tried to torch it had same results as your wedge.
