Those are possibly the best feeling irons I've  ever hit.  My issue I just wasn't consistent enough with them, my misses were hurting me...not like physically  but in terms of the result.

I just tend miss the sweet spot more than required for these. Typically my miss is more toward the  heel side.

Ah, I see. My miss with the irons has been heelside lately. I've been working hard on it this month, and seeing alot of improvement. I actually changed my grip from interlock to vardon, and it seems to put my trail hand in a stronger postion. Actually have been hitting middle or slightly toe way more often!

Well just got it welded up! Still trying to figure out the best/most cost effective place to send it for refinishing. I'm leaning towards Continental Golf but probably need to figure out what finish I want to go with before deciding who to send it to!

Just got this back from Continental Golf and it's beautiful. I can't believe how good it looks now compared to what it looked like when I sent it off. Currently it is in my golf room chillin' while the epoxy dries on the UST Frequency Filtered shaft. Will then cut it to my preferred length of 32.5" and slap a Super stroke pistol GT 1.0 black grip on it. I am more than thrilled with how it turned out and the total cost doesn't hurt either! Lol

Yes they did and it was only $65 plus shipping. With shipping both ways I was still under $100 for the refinish. I can't recommend them enough.

Sitting outside with SWMBO and she got a 30% Oakley deal so I have a new pair of shades on the way. I need new shades like I need putters, I grew up in the 90’s playing baseball so I have Oakleys. I think I am at 100+ pairs and counting but apparently she found a pair I don’t have at a good price.

Got my new Oban Kiyoshi Gold shaft that I bought on Ebay today. Was not fitted for the shaft, but for me, part of the fun is tinkering. Couldn't pass up this shaft for $100. 

With the research and purchase of this shaft, one thing I learned was that Taylormade in the past produced "TP" models of their drivers. The regular version included made for TM shafts, whereas the more expensive TP models included higher end aftermarket shafts with TM painted logos on them. This Kiyoshi is the TP model, so its the same as the aftermarket model but has TM paint and logos on it. This was old stock that a fitter had sitting around, originally came with the SLDR. This is going into my SIM Max.

These TP model shafts are a bargain. I saw some real Graphite Design AD-DJ shafts going for 50 bucks brand new with the TM TP graphics on them. If you play a TM driver or don't care what graphics are on the shaft, then you can get some real bargains on some older shafts.

I have a feeling given how covid-19 is impacting and will continue to impact the economy, there are going to be a lot of good deals.

Bought it on Tuesday when the price was $125. Looks like they are moving up the price as they clear out inventory.
