I just bought I left-handed, Mavrik 3-wood with a Ventus Red 7S Velocore shaft. I am not left-handed... This was mint condition for $250 shipped. Going to pull the head, sell the head or re-shaft the head with a cheap shaft and trade in the left-handed 3-wood, and then buy the fairway wood that i actually want.

You probably know this already but the LH adapter will play different with a RH head. Just a heads-up . Idk the difference because I'm not much of a club builder but I do know there's a difference and was surprised to find out.

Had to get a pair of the puma golf pants to try. Grabbed a pair in the 5 pocket style and I have to say, these are super comfortable and I’ll be adding some to my repertoire. They have a nice stretch but don’t look as much like a tech pant as my UA pants do. These can pull double duty as casual work pants.

If I remember correctly, you can swap the cog that moves on the adapter from the left handed to the right handed and come out just fine. The old trick was to take the left handed cog on the right handed adapter and set it to +2 which was actually the revers and -2. Was a good way to get the head to sit way open.

That's a lot of shoe man!

For the club I purchased, its a Mavrik fairway wood, so the shaft is glued into the head, no adapter. If it did have an adapter, I would pull it off anyway.

Funny, pulled the trigger on a PlaneMate late Sunday night as well. 

In the immediate future I hope it can help my abysmal short game, maybe over the winter it can get my back swing higher and longer to generate more speed.

I'm not familiar with the reference -- enlighten me?

The only non-player related shoes I remember were the custom Air Force 1's that Nike made for Robert Kraft after their last SB win.

Cobra Speedzone Driver 10.5⁰ with the Mitsubishi Tensei AV Blue 65g stiff shaft.  Black and white version.  Had it as a demo from Global Golf and really like it.  I haven't played around with the loft settings yet, but I have moved the weights around.  The default setting with the 14g weight closest to the face seems to work best for me, but I dont have access to a launch monitor to verify that.

Just bought some New Balance shoes. Super comfortable it a little wide but I have wide feet so it works well. Taking them out for the first time tomorrow will see how it goes.

I posted some pics a few weeks ago of a Titleist U500 I'd picked up, part of my never-ending quest to find a driving iron that I truly loved rather than just kind of liked.  Turns out it ain't the U500. I hit it well enough, but I never really liked the feel of it.  My metric for clubs is always how does it treat my misses, and while those shots weren't horrendously offline the feel on toey shots was awful, in my opinion.  And, I just don't get on well with the HZRDOUS line.  (The made-for T800 in my Epic works okay, but that shaft isn't really consistent with the rest of the line.)  My numbers were fine when I tested it, and it played well enough...just a feel thing.  I wanted something with more kick to it.

The good news is I was able to return the U500 rather than take a big loss via a trade-in, so enter this stick...Mizuno MP-20 HMB 3 iron, reshafted with a Recoil ES 780/F3 shaft.  I'm a little concerned I could overpower this one, I'm on the top end of the recommended swing speeds, but I want a driving iron for windy days when I shouldn't be swinging out of my shoes anyway.  Have practiced with it so far and the feel is significantly better than the U500.
