Playing the Rogue X irons now Rob.  Went back to regular flex and with the strong lofts and high trajectory I am scoring best I have since my surgery.

Cally did well with the Epic Flash woods.  I recently picked up the 5 - wood and love it!

The wife loves the new Cobras.  I wnded up ordering 8-sw for her.  New putter soon also.

 

All these new clubs for her, I got a bit jealous.  Pulled the trigger on a King Utility 3/4. 

Cobra hasn't discounted them yet even with the new version out, so I found one elsewhere for a bit less.

Ordered a dozen of the Snell MTB - X yellow balls this morning. This will be my first experience with this model so looking forward to stacking and cracking em.

This club is great so far. 

Mishits nearly hurt though.  Stingers actually sting, lol.  You know for sure when you miss center.

When you hit ctr, feels like a forged Mizuno

 

More on ballflight and forgiveness later but I have good feelings about it.

I decided to stop trying to be different and put graphite shafts back in my hybrids. But they are new graphite shafts. Matrix Ozik Altus 85 stiff hybrid shafts. Did I test them before buying, of course not. They were $14.99 a piece, worth a shot.

Shafts obviously perform differently for different players, but the Altus is one of my favorite hybrid shafts.  Originally in my RBZ Tour hybrid, I have installed it in several hybrids and now it is back in my RBZ. A pretty tight shaft with a little controlled kick and for me, very accurate. I think they are steal at that price!

There was a "Best hybrid shaft of all time" thread on WRX and the Altus kept coming up, that it fit well for a wide range of players. Thought I might as well give it a shot for 15 bucks, especially since I can change my shafts out at home.

I have a ‘buying putters for no reason, the one I’m using right now is perfectly fine’ problem. Bought a Spider X in the navy color for a cheap price, should be here before the weekend

It all started very innocently, looking to upgrade my driver Cobra F9 which I thought was hitting pretty good.. Decided for the same brand newer version, Cobra SZ but after the range session and a round at the course, I return to the shop for what I expected was an adjustment which in turn I came out with a new Ping G410 LST which BTW is the best driver I have hit, never been more consistent ... BUT wait there is more.. While I was contemplating returning back to my trusted Cobra F9.. I decided to try some 3wood to possibly replace my Mizuno ST180. 

Well as it turns out the New Cobra SZ FW wood ended in the back this week.

I started to used the Snell MTB-X yellow last year and I have really like the color. One downside, is after a while they get really dirty.  Maybe they expected you not to have the ball for more than one round.. lol

Got my left handed mavrik 3 wood from 2ndswing with a ventus red 7S shaft. Im not left handed just bought this due to the good price.

The shaft turned out to be a real Velocore shaft, which i was betting it was. None of the made for shafts come in 7S in the Red. It does have “2ndSwing” inscribed on the shaft, but i dont mind that.

Successfully pulled the shaft today without damage.

Stopped at PGASS to get some golf balls today and picked up an Odyssey 2 Ball XG Long for $30. This was a model I used for about 5 years and when I went back to the short putter I let somebody “borrow” it and they are still using it to this day.

Yellow is way easier to spot when I'm playing by myself.

Just ordered Orange Whip's new "LightSpeed" speed trainer (from HoleInTheWallGolf; they're offering it -$10 less than everyone else plus free shipping). Had been looking at Super Speed's "C" speed trainer, but since I have two Orange Whips - regular and "Compact" - that I'm comfortable and happy with I thought the OW version would mesh better for me. We'll see!

Got a ridiculously good deal on a Stability shaft so made the purchase. Going to put it in my Scotty Squareback (the orig Squareback). It's got aftermarket weights I put in and the head weighs 395 grams, so thinking the Stability shaft may make a difference. Anyway, the price was much lower than the MSRP, so decided to give it a shot. Going to go through the process of full installation myself, so may make a thread about that.

Also ordered a Callaway Mavrik 4 wood that includes a bunch of trade ins with the 50% bonus. Going to be getting the 4 wood, pulling the stock shaft, and putting that stock shaft back into a trade in head and sending it in. Hoping I don't screw up something a long the way on this trade in.

I think my bag is complete now...
