[mention=85612]Lacassem[/mention] will be happy to hear I pulled the trigger on a new (to me) 5 wood. I picked up a Cobra F8 from Golf Discount at a great price with a regular flex Aldila NV 2KXV Blue shaft. Also picked up a performance pack of Srixon Z Star XV to get the free shipping. 

Still gaming my F8 3-4W and 5-6W....

Told him one of the most important pieces of golf equipment are a good comfy but functional pair of golf shoes that will keep his feet in place while he's learning the basics.

The one thing my bag was really missing was a 215-230 yard club- lots of dog legs on my home course.  Hit a buddy's Ping g400 19 degree hybrid about 4 times (twice off the deck, twice off the tee) and had bought my own online before the round was even over.  Let's pray it wasn't beginner's luck...

Good old amazon I wanted the lime green but that was $303 but I got dark grey and I got a notification last night for arrival Saturday  originally was going to be August 24th or later

I have this exact cart as does my dad. We both love them. I literally ran mine over in my truck. Still works. I wouldn’t recommend doing that though. But I highly recommend the push cart. It has helped me stay healthier now that I am walking and flailing my arms at the same time instead of driving.

Few people here have them as well that’s why I got it from recommendations @B.Boston @edingc I really enjoy walking and I don’t need to carry and have poor posture over it. Can’t wait for it to come in....hopefully before my round Saturday

Picked up a headcover for my new 7 Wood.  My other woods have the USA theme so the new kid on the block has to be dressed appropriately.

@Lacassem that's an awesome deal on the unicorn that is the push cart. Looks good, too. I've noticed an uptick in push cart usage at my home course lately as it's become the thing to have. Had two older gents walking in front of me yesterday in 90 degree heat. I've got to say, they're more manly than I am. I'm wanting one for the fall, as Tennessee summers can be brutal to a fluffy guy like me.

Thing is I would have used them earlier but weekends we had to use carts so there was no point! Now it’s ok! Silver lining rifgt? I love to walk the course

I just ordered a couple dozen of the optic yellow myself, I have been playing the MTB-X for about a year now and really like it.  Ready to go to the yellow for the same reason I was playing them before I switched to the Chrome Soft Truvis for several years, less confusion over who's ball is who's.

After getting the Cobra F9 5 wood and loving it, I had to go back and get is big brother.

My current 3 wood is a TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 that I love, but am not the most consistent with. I bought it probably 6-7 years ago and chose that line of clubs because I was enamored with the speed aspect. I think the Atmos shaft is a better fit for my swing, I'm seeing a lot more shots hitting the middle of the club face. 

I did have to make a compromise with my wife and let her get a new houseplant.

Awesome! You know what they say about 3 woods. Once a golfer finds one that works you'll have to pry it out of their cold, dead hands.

Me and my King F7 are that way.

Local Roger Dunn moved to a new, bigger location and is having their "grand opening" tomorrow despite being open for like a month or two. 20% off everything so I called them up and told them to hold a Clicgear Model 4 for me. All paid for via store credit that I have, and going to give my current Caddytek to my BIL.
