My Triple Track Two Ball arrived in record time. Ordered on the 21st from Discount dans and arrived today from callaway in Mexico.

Never tried a two ball, but looks good to my eye, weight of the putter feels good, will see how it performs.

Careful you may have bought your last putter....

Even if I putt well with it, I am sure I will find a way to justify to myself why I need a new putter again. Its more like how long til I buy a new putter lol.

Perfect timing, this also came today to go along with my Triple Track. I don't want to buy the Callaway balls, so picked this up.

My wife's been complaining about the smell of my feet the last few weeks after my rounds, so a new pair of sneaks were in order. Per the MGS spikeless shoe buying guide, I ordered a pair of the Inesis Waterproof shoes, and am impressed! Not sure I'm 100% sold on the style, but everything else is an A+ on initial impression. Never had spikeless shoes before, but this outsole looks like it'll grip well. And for only $79.99, yes please!

Those will be tested this weekend. Wet, wet, wet in the mornings.

(Hilariously, my wife has been complaining of the same. I don't have a truly waterproof pair of shoes anymore so my feet get soaked during rounds.)

Hahaha it's a tough situation to avoid. My previous shoes were actually waterproof, but I think when it's super hot they trap the sweat in there and get a nasty odor cooking in there. I was initially going to go for Inesis' dry weather shoes to use in dry weather and keep the old ones for wet weather for a best of both worlds, but they didn't have my size.

Something I bought a while ago and finally got to building it. I have a Scotty Circle T GoLo that is a center shaft weld neck and it is more of a collection piece but I always putt well with it. I bought all the parts to clone it with a 2013 GoLo S to it and finally put it together today. Should be ready to go for tomorrow. I did have to order the head weights tonight to get it back to the proper weight since I took it from 35” to 34”.

Nope! Well, I guess kinda. For shoes I just wear around I usually go 12.5 for a little extra room, but athletic shoes I like a more snug fit. I had 12s in the previous Adidas I had (which I think Adidas runs a tad on the small side) and went with 12s for the Inesis and like the fit. I'd probably just say if you find yourself caught between sizes go up a half, but they seem really similar to the Adidas sizing to me.

Just picked up two Vokey SM8 wedges, 52*F & 58*M to replace a couple of CBX wedges I just went to after playing MD's the last few years.

It's funny, I love the look of a "bigger" head on an iron, but as soon as I put the CBX wedges in my bag, I knew it was a mistake. I could've lived with the 52* as a full swing club, but the 58* is the club I use from greenside bunkers. It just looked too big, and had too much(?) bounce for the hard compacted sand I usually play out of. I just never felt comfortable with it, and the results weren't good either.

I know that's a "me" thing, because almost everyone I know who plays the CBX wedges loves them, they just weren't for me. Oh well, onward and upward with the Vokeys….

Especially where you live, where I assume it is often wet? I couldn't imagine playing in wet conditions in spikeless shoes. I've slipped a couple of times in my downswing when wearing spikeless when it has been barely damp.

Yes, very wet in the fall and winter months. And my home course is very hilly as well.

How ya liking your CBX2?

Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Greenside, the CBX2 has been performing just as good as any other wedge.  Except it's new, so the ball is checking up a pinch more.   I've had some good up and down's with it.

On pitches from 40-80 yds, I have been all over the place.  Not sure yet if that is more me than the club.  Last few times out I've had a ton of shanks, with every club... so it's probably more me.  I'm probably just missing the middle, so I don't have my distance dialed yet. 😉

And in a classic club 'ho move... ordered a new set of irons during a summer sale - untested and .. yes .. unfitted-for (..i know, i know .. maybe next season...) ... and to top it off, put 'em into the bag and started playing them - no range preview, no side by side test vs the incumbents. I've been liking the new irons, but wasn't 100% confident in my impulsiveness, and finally got both sets to the range yesterday - and quickly decided that I'd actually made a good equipment decision for once!

Old: Apex CF16
New: PXG 0211

Interestingly, the stock specs (L-L-L) are identical (offsets differ slightly) but the 0211s are a little more GI which is what I need. Yes, I saw a little more distance with them but the biggest positive comparison was the dispersion - the 0211s with the MMT shaft (stabilized tip) seem to be way, way better for me. Also feel like I have a little more confidence with the 0211's 6i, so we'll see if I can start hitting that one effectively out on the course.

A new Bag Boy pushcart.

NICE!!! Use it in good health 👍

Looks like the bag sits really upright in there - that's a nice feature!

Well there’s an interesting impulse buy!
Good luck, hope they will be your magic bullet
