I suspect you'll love them  Everything I've seen and heard speaks to their stability.  I've only hit them a couple times on a range with a buddies set.  Tough to draw any conclusions but it definitely sparked my curiosity. They are light though...I would think a good custom fit is important to make sure swing weights are where they should be.

I play the Nippon 950GH Neos, which are 98 grams, so the Steelfiber i95s are in the right class for me.

... Just a word of caution, the Steelfiber 95's play almost a whole flex stiffer than their stated flex for most. I have played 950GH in S-Flex and the Steelfiber 95 R-Flex is definitely stouter than the S-Flex Nippons. You may want to soft step them a couple times. I am playing Steelfiber 95's in R-Flex and they are a great fit for me. Hit my 7 iron 165 for reference. Of course it isn't how far or how fast but how you hit far or fast. I have a smooth swing and a harder hitter may have different results.

Yeah, i am thinking about soft stepping them. Since these are parallel tip shafts, if I want to softstep twice, for my 5 iron, i should tip trim the amount recommended for the 3 iron, correct?

Pulled the trigger on a Down Under Board. The new "pro" model that's adjustable and can accommodate flared feet.

It's normally something I'd DIY, but I want it now. Too lazy to make a trip to Home Depot...

I really struggle with proper lower body rotation in my swing. Always searching for something that provides the right feelings to make my practice time more valuable.

Picked up a couple midsize Golf Pride Z Grips for my TS3 3 & 4h.

ZGrip.jpg.59b271bc1905d6e022d83b30fb8d412a.jpg

Haven't played a full cord before but I like the look and feel so far.

When I ordered the hybrids I asked for Tour Velvets, and they came in with MCC Align grips on them.  I got them through a friend who helped me get a serious discount, but that friend thought he was doing me a favor by "upgrading" the grips.  Nice thought, except when you adjust the hosel that whole "align" thing is no longer aligned!  Got the Z Grips swapped in at no charge so all good.

I got what I think is a good a good deal from of all places, the PGASS.

I've been looking to get hybrids to go with my 0211's, but I didn't want to spend the $200-275 new ones go for now. Well, the Superstore has the Cobra F9's on sale for $119 each. This is $50 cheaper than anywhere else for some reason. I went in yesterday and hit a used one, and liked it. This morning I planned on ordering the 3&4, but then decided at that price to get the 5 also. This used up almost all my gift card balances, but I'm thinking a 5 hybrid will be fun to mess around with. Not to mention, I'll have the 90 day playability, so why not?

When I recently changed my irons, I kept my Rogue X hybrids in the bag. That was never going to be permanent however, as the plan was to keep a second set up on Long Island, and I want them to stay with my Rogue X irons. I also have two MD 4 wedges and Yes! Tracy putter in that 2nd bag already, so I'm getting there LOL.

filling two bags is a serious chore. i’m just about done setting up my “main” or “home” bag and am starting to realize i need a setup for when i’m down in florida.

i’ll likely do that in much the same way you are - hunting around for bargains and putting it together piece meal. that’ll be the bag i experiment with some club choices on as well.

It really hasn't been much of a hassle (kind of fun actually), and fairly painless to my wallet. I loved the setup I had prior to getting the PXG irons, so I've been taking my time looking for the stuff I want to put in a bag with them.

It's been easy doing it like this because I still like my "old" clubs, and have no desire to sell them yet.... it would be a lot more stressful if I hated them, and felt like I had to change them quickly.

This just came down to a perfect storm of having won or been gifted a ton of PGASS gift cards, and getting bored with looking at the same stuff in the bag. When when I heard about the discounted pricing PXG has been offering, I took a flyer on the 0211's and the MMT shafts at $89 per. Once I knew they were keepers, I started burning the gift cards on new wedges, a Scotty and now the hybrids.

That's a great deal on the Cobras, and if they're anything like the fairways you'll be in for a treat. They're easy to launch from amt lie and they go for days. Congrats!

Srixon ZX 5 JDM irons on the way, open box. 5 - PW, Nippon 950GH Stiff (basically the same shaft as I play now).

Did I pay a premium to get them early? Actually, no, i got them on a BF deal for lower than clearance price ZX 585 sets are going for.

Any difference in the JDM heads from usdm? I wanted to buy the JDM MP-18s when I was in Japan a few years ago because the badging is different, lol. I'm like a golf and car JDM hipster snob it's disgusting

And now with them all built up! Got to hit a bucket with them at the range, and ohhhh boy, now I really can't wait for spring! These puppies are absolute beauties. Apologies for the picture quality, it's a little tricky getting good ones in our apartment after dark lol.

Yeah, those are definitely more blade like than the PTMs. Very nice looking, though! Golfworks really needs to up their game with some "real" photos because the rendered images in the catalog never look as good.

Spec wise, the head specs look the same to my eye. I didn't compare every parameter, but loft and lie looks the same, checked the 7 irons.

I don't know where Srixon irons for the US market are manufactured, but i am guessing the JDM irons are fully manufactured and assembled in Japan. JDM market customers tend to be snobby about that.

I doubt they are fake for a few reasons. Too new of a release for the counterfeiters to start faking. I don't know how big the market is for counterfeiting Srixons. And best of yet, the source i bought these from is actually the largest retailer of used clubs in the world.

Their process on identifying fake clubs seems pretty meticulous compared to what any of the retailers in the US check for: https://golfpartnerusa.com/pages/authenticity

There is one set of ZX 7s available from Golf Partner USA (in japan). If anyone wants to get in on this. Make sure you acquire a 30% coupon for BF first.

@mr.hicksta - might not be the right shafts, but this set is calling your name

I totally agree, they're pictures really don't do the clubs I've seen justice!

Nice find! I’m gonna hold out for the US release, though. They’ll make a nice birthday day gift to myself 😎.

... Well, the Bridgestone B-RX balls that I won in a random drawing for filing out survey's for Golf DataTech finally arrived. They came in two pack promo boxes so I can't trade them for TP5's 🤪. But I certainly won't complain about 6 dozen free balls!

Those are very good balls. Our rep gave me a “bag full” of them when we played together a few weeks ago.
