Like you, I'm a slider, especially when my pivot gets a little too much sway and not enough turn in it. I'd be curious to hear your feedback on whether you think it would help prevent too much lateral pressure shift to the backside in the backswing. I would assume if you do that, you can't put pressure on the force pedal under your back heel. sirchunksalot and cksurfdude 2 Quote Unofficial WHS Handicap: 7.5 / Anti-Cap: 13.0 (Last Updated Feb. 19, 2024) Driver: Callaway Paradym TD (10.5°, -1/N), 45.75", Fujikura Motore X F1 6X | Fitting Post 3 Wood: Cobra RadSpeed Big Tour (14.5°), 43", Fujikura Motore X F1 7X 20° Hybrid: PXG 0211 (2020 Model), 40.25", Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW White 90X 4 Utility: Cobra KING Utility (2020 Model), 38.5", Aerotech SteelFiber i110cw Stiff 5-PW: Ben Hogan PTx Pro, 37" 7 Iron, Aerotech SteelFiber i125cw Stiff | Club Champion Fitting 50°, 54°, 58°: Edel SMS, V Grind, Nippon Modus 125 Wedge| Official Review Thread Putter: L.A.B. NRJyzr
A semi-impulse-purchase yesterday. Was surfing 2nd Swing's website as I do from time to time. Have been thinking about putting my MS-11s back into play; I've set them down for trajectory and spin reasons a couple times in the last dozen years. Those problems are not as pressing these days as they were 10 years ago. I've also been toying with trying a utility in the 17*-18* slot in the bag. And, have thought about even replacing Mizuno blade 3i with an MP-20 HMB. Well, as I poked around the site, I saw they had an MP20 HMB 2 iron, complete with Steelfiber i95 stiff. A shaft I am contemplating. Took it as a Sign from the golf gods. Hoping it gets here in time to use this weekend. Living in the same town as 2nd Swing HQ might help there. Syks7
Tinkering is causing me some issues... Case in point, I bought a used 2016 M2 that had a great but cut down shaft on it. I swapped that to my 3 wood and now my 3W which was coming around for me has turned into an absolute monster 240+ leaving me with a very large gap at the top end. So, time to put a hybrid back in the bag... Rbz stage 2 tour 2 hybrid. Okay so now I'm way too full at the bottom end of the bag... Out go the Kirkland's and in go a used TM hi toe 58 I bought at play it again and a new cbx 2 54 that I bought to fill the gap. Oh and did I mention that I started dabbling in club building... So new shafts for the hi toe and cbx 2. Im hoping the bag is finally settled after this but who knows.... sirchunksalot, Kenny B, MattF and 1 other 4 Quote Driver 0311 Gen 5 -- Tensei CK Orange 60 Woods 0341 3W -- Tensei AV Raw Blue Hybrids 0317X 2&4 -- Tensei AV Raw Blue Irons ZX7 4/AW -- C-Taper Lite 110 Wedges T7 55º @55/7 -- TT DG Spinner Putter DF2.1 or Link.1 -- Accra Ball Zstar Diamond

Popular Post azstu324
A while back I posted a review on the Titleist Hybrid 14 bag that I got. It's been one of the best riding/stand bags that I've ever owned but with a MAJOR flaw that we all kind of discovered together, was that it doesn't fit most push carts. The bag was touted as being designed specifically for the push cart.. but which one because hardly any of them seemed to fit. Being that it's starting to cool off, the thoughts of push-cart golf are running through my mind but I've been hesitant to order or buy anything due to the issue mentioned above. But finally, the golf Gods graced me with this lucky find, which also happens to fit the bag like it was made for it. BagBoy Nitron I found this on OfferUp in lightly used (9/10) condition for about half the price of a new one. The brackets not only fit but they happen to wrap around the arms on each side and the bag just doesn't budge. I probably don't even need the straps but they'll be useful for that extra bit of support. This thing is extremely easy to set up and is pretty darn compact. It just pops open as advertised and away you go. I went through that for years with my Mottocaddy's and MGI remote carts. Nothing seemed to fit on the bottom and it was always a little wobbly going over uneven terrain. A couple times I hit a hole, sprinkler head grown over with grass or drainage ditch and the cart twisted off the cart. Very frustrating. I finally bought the MGI bag that is "designed specifically for MGI carts" and it locks into place at the base and the difference is huge. Nothing seemed to fit on the bottom and it was always a little wobbly going over uneven terrain. Great find and good luck with your set up! yeah I'm excited to use it and see how it really performs on the course. Not having to worry about adjusting half way through or worry about the bag completely coming off is a pretty big deal. @chisag you know how nice it's starting to get here so walking rounds are extremely anticipated. What's super strange about the Titleist bag is that the base where the legs connect is about 1" wider than most other bags. Standard seems to be about 6" and this one's 7". Sure it might offer better support when using the stands, but the insert section on the collar of most carts is just over 6". How Titleist missed this design queue is completely beyond me. It's not like Titleist has their own push cart and has a need to design a different setup to force people to buy their cart. chisag, cksurfdude, sirchunksalot and 1 other 4 Quote PXG 0311 Gen 5 9°/ Fujikura MotoreX F1 6X F6 3 Wood 14* / Kuro Kage Silver 65X F8 6 wood 20* / Fujikura MotoreX F3 6S RADSpeed Hybrid 24* TS1 4-GW / FCM Precision 6.5 Rifle TSW Wedge - 56/12 EAS 1.0 / Grip master 2.0 MAXFLI Tour CG
Gusset
New to the forum, may as well jump in. TLDR: New putter to play with! I saw an Axis1 commercial on YouTube earlier this year, and I've been wanting to try one ever since (newly diving back into golf, had never heard of them before). Doing some digging, I see that there are a lot of golfers out there that view Axis1 putters as over-priced, ugly gimmicks. I see it differently, though, and find a lot of appeal to the design. It makes sense, and IMHO the weird look is fine...there's often great beauty in the space where form follows function. Might have something to do with my being a mechanical engineer. At any rate, I didn't have the golf budget for a new one. I figured I'd wait through the winter to save up the golf allowance pennies, and if the Axis1 itch was still there, get a brand new one of their lower priced models. Meanwhile, I've been on the lookout on eBay. Happily, a used Umbra model recently came up that fit the budget, and it arrived two days ago. I'll get it on the golf course in two days (likely in the rain). In the meantime, I've been giving it a workout on 3-7 footers in my living room. The feel and distance control are a pretty big switch, mainly because my current putter has a soft face insert and this Umbra doesn't. The living room putts are leaving a good impression. I can take a lighter grip, which is taking some getting used to, but I think will be better in the long run. Looking down on it at address, I like what I see. Knowing why it looks like it does actually seems to promote confidence in my little brain, so the hosel hasn't bothered me at all thus far. We'll see if that holds once I've got it on a real green. I'm also curious to see how I do with it on distance control for longer putts. So now I'm looking forward to Friday's round just a bit more than I normally would. fozcycle, NRJyzr, cksurfdude and 5 others
Popular Post ejgaudette
As mentioned before I was look for new irons and the just arrived. Found a great deal on a set of Mizuno JPX 919 Hot Metal Pro irons that I had re-shafted by @dlow206 and Bort Golf with Fuji Pro Tour Spec 115 Stiff graphite irons, thanks to a virtual fit with TXG. Oh boy do these look great. I love the just slightly larger head of the HMP than my i500s in the 5 and 6, but are about the same in the short irons, plus the offset is very minimal which is great. If anyone wants some more forgiveness with less offset, then you need to give these a serious look. Also great to work with @dlow206 getting a great price of the shafts in doing quick quality work. Hit them in the net straight away and love the feel of the shafts, though the 4 iron is not one I will be using, bit otherwise very pleased. Hoping to get the spin down a bit with this move as well, so will be sure to share GC Quad numbers when I get on one next. I haven't been as active around here as much as I'd like recently, so maybe I missed this... Did you detail your virtual fit with TXG anywhere? Curious what led you to the Fuji Pros? When I started looking at graphite in early 2019 they were one of my first stops. The weight range is about perfect for me, as is bend profile. I think I ultimately went with MMTs because they are .355 and I didn't want to bother with tip trimming... cksurfdude and ejgaudette 2 Quote Unofficial WHS Handicap: 7.5 / Anti-Cap: 13.0 (Last Updated Feb. 19, 2024) Driver: Callaway Paradym TD (10.5°, -1/N), 45.75", Fujikura Motore X F1 6X | Fitting Post 3 Wood: Cobra RadSpeed Big Tour (14.5°), 43", Fujikura Motore X F1 7X 20° Hybrid: PXG 0211 (2020 Model), 40.25", Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW White 90X 4 Utility: Cobra KING Utility (2020 Model), 38.5", Aerotech SteelFiber i110cw Stiff 5-PW: Ben Hogan PTx Pro, 37" 7 Iron, Aerotech SteelFiber i125cw Stiff | Club Champion Fitting 50°, 54°, 58°: Edel SMS, V Grind, Nippon Modus 125 Wedge| Official Review Thread Putter: L.A.B.
