Why's that? Did Terry make a lot of changes to them?

Yes - way too large a blade for my taste - they look stupid next to my irons

Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60  Aldila  R flex   - 42.25 inches

SMT 4 wood bassara R flex, four wood head, 3 wood shaft

Ping G410 7, 9 wood  Alta 65 R flex

Srixon ZX5 MK II  5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex

India 52,56 (60 pending)  UST recoil 75's R flex

Evon roll ER 5 32 inches

It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

I was looking for a gap wedge last year and bought the Edison 49º since my PW was 44º and my SW is 54º.  It is a little larger than my 50º SCOR, but that doesn't bother me.

Since then I have been playing a set Mizuno MP-20HMB and the Edison works fine as a gap wedge between my SW.  I have also started playing my old Macgregor Tourney VIP 1025M irons and I put my SCOR 42º and 46º in place of the 9i and PW for now (I'll add them in later).  The 50º fits in this bag now.  They are still usable, but the SCOR SW and LW are not kicking out my Callaway PM Grinds.

Just because I don’t like them doesn’t mean they aren’t good - they just don’t fit my eye and honestly the trajectory is harder for me to control than I’d like.

I think they are good and I like them.  My problem with them is that I don't see any difference between the Edison and the SCORs as far as how they play for me.  The SCORs were much less expensive, and I could probably find another brand that works as well for less money.

Why does the cold weather automatically trigger hot buy?

I have a Sub 70 hybrid on its way. I couldn't resist. I was looking at it all season and now that its colder I pull the trigger. So I predict some quality time in the basement on the simulator very soon. I'm sure there will still be plenty of nice days left where I can give it a good road test.

Getting PV installed on my roof this year in anticipation of buying an EV next year if/when the tax credits bill passes. GV60 is kinda nice, not a fan of the wheels but that's not hard to change. I like that they are just making electric versions of their normal cars -- never understood why more companies don't do that. They always have to make them look dumb. If BMW made an EV version of the 3-series I would've bought one years ago, but no, you can only get the little golf cart i3 or a totally impractical racecar i8. Then again I don't know what BMW has been doing of late. Cars getting uglier and the grilles are getting b i g g e r

... That is a mystery to me too. Seems almost all of them want a futuristic look, which is fine for some but just offer the car we already love with electric power, right? Seems there ae plenty more customers like you and I. Since I am in the land of perpetual sunshine I will at least get enough solar panels to power my car and then I am completely self sustaining.

Ok. Brain working now.   Yeah I had read they some models being produced now are shipping without some of the chips that power some of the features.

Fortunately this one has all functions of the XLE trim.  So good to go there.

I went in looking at RAV4 hybrid mainly due to price since I wasn’t planning on buying a new car for at least another 4 or 5 years but Ford had other ideas.   But once I drove both the difference in the driving experience between the two was nigjt and dsy.  I knew if bought the RAV as nice as it is, I would have had buyers remorse for not spending a bit more and getting what I really liked.

it is hard to find the perfect vehicjle on the lot these days.  But this one had all of my must haves and was my 2nd choice in color behind Charcoal Gray.  But my current EdGE is silver also.  So that’s fine.

Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow ow.

After not finding it in Canada. Managed to find a TSi3 FW - 15 deg with my preferred Tensei AV Raw White S flex on my trip to the US.  So its now in the bag.  The shaft matches my TSi3 driver, but 10g heavier.

Sadly will only get to hit it indoors this Winter in a simulator, but getting nice LM numbers, so far.  Will have to play with the A1 setting to see if I can optimize it.

Thought I was done looking at clubs before the spring but a deal caught my eye and I couldn’t say no. Perfect condition Tour Edge Exotics CBX 3 wood. Have heard people swear by Tour Edge and have been wanting to try them out for awhile. Have wanted to try the Project X Yellow shaft as well- two birds, one stone and the price was right!

SWMBO has a birthday coming up and after playing the best golf of her life this year she dropped her handicap to an 11.  All the while complaining about the L shaft clubs in her G25's (went for lighter weight to help with ss).  I found a set of G410's with SR shafts for her to try.  About 1/2" longer too so we'll see how the adjustment turns out.
