Ironically, I used to be able to do a passable Elvis imitation, minus the singing.  But it was mid 70s Elvis, and really just an imitation of another imitation.

Fortunately, the local Dicks House of Sport has Sonar Wrap Calibrate grips in stock so I could grab a couple fresh ones.  New glove to replace the 4 year old one for the super humid days when I have to wear one, and a dozen Z Star XV's to put through some paces.

Not yet, going to play 9 tomorrow after work. I should get to warm up but it will be nice to see on course performance. Will post back after trying.

I'm a huge fan of the Srixon Z Star XV's, I've got some of my longer drives with them. The Divide is a good concept and it'll be interesting to hear what you think about them.

I like the Z Stars as well.  Can't wait to try a Divide on the course.  It looks like it will be great on the putting green.

After 30 years of not playing, my wife has decided to give it another go.  A friend gave her some clubs to use for the time being.  We went to a golf store and got her a pair of FJ Flex golf shoes, a dozen Callaway SuperSoft (Red!!!) balls, some wiffle balls for backyard practice, and some pink Martini golf tees.  We couldn't find a bag that fit her desires, so she'll be using an older Ogio bag of mine until she finds one that suits her fancy.  Oh yeah....I got a pair of golf shorts that were on sale.

I'm a work from the green back to the tee kind of player so these will definitely get their first look from the putting green.  

At the absolute worst, they'll be a fantastic putting aid.  What I've read is that some players like the visual they get from short chips and pitches...I'll know soon enough.

The Q Star Divides are awesome for putting (both practice and legally swapping them in for putting when scrambles allow it). The Z Star doesn't have as much contrast, but it's still helpful. I'm kinda hoping they release another color in the Z.

I broke open a sleeve and did some putting practice today for a little bit.  Feel is about what you’d expect, not clicky but not super soft either.  I really do like the contrast in colors…first impression is good, now let’s see what it can really do.

I just couldn't help myself.. found this pretty clean F8 5-6 wood and picked it up for a trade. As much as I wanted to love the G400 7w, it just sat too closed for my liking and I felt like I had to manipulate it too much to keep it from going left. Luckily me and the guy I traded with had exactly what the other was looking for

And finally the F6 has found its little brother..

What lofts does that adjust up or down to?  From your pics I like the way it sits

The 5-6 goes from 17°-20° and I've got it cranked up to 20° right here. 

For another reference, the 3-4 which is what the F6 is, goes from 13°-16° and I've got this all the way down to 13° and they both still sit relatively square.

For better reference, here is a pic at address of both clubs. The F6 is at the lowest loft and the F8 is at the highest. What I've always loved about Cobra is that the clubs seem to sit square no matter what loft they're at.

Yesterday, my wife bought a Ping Pioneer bag is black from the club because she's just getting back into golf after decades of not playing and the old bag I had was too heavy and in really bad shape.  Later, I told her that if she found a bag she really liked later, I would take that bag since mine was getting a bit long in the tooth.  This morning, she found one she liked online and told me that I had a new bag.  She ordered the bag and when I went to the pro shop, they had just unpacked the exact bag she had ordered (with club emblem embroidered on it).  I called her, she cancels her online order, and I bought the new Callaway Org 14 bag in Navy/Red.  So, now I have a new bag, as well.

Today was Callaway Demo Day at our club and I had set up a fitting appointment for Driver.  I'll be ordering a new Callaway Rogue Max 10.5 driver and a 16.5 degree 3 wood.  Callaway has a nice trade-in/trade-up program going on and I'll be taking advantage of that.  Pro Shop is giving me a nice member discount on the woods (better than military discount that I could have gotten from Callaway).

My club bill this month is going to be quite hefty.

Picked up an Epic Max driver and 3-wood from the Callaway Preowned website last week, replacing my Epic GBB driver and Mavrik Pro Sub Zero 3 wood.

I've been playing the divides since they came out.  Love them.  They're great to putt with and I've found that it helps me to look at the yellow side when I'm lining up a tee shot.  Also high on my list is that I've not had a single person at an LA muni try to play my ball yet.  I can't tell you how many times that happened playing the all white ones or ProVs.

Signed up for a tournament at a course I'd never heard of because it was one of the nearer ones to me in the SCGA one day series.  Started to research said course and saw reviews and comments that said, Final stage of 1996 Q School, US open qualifiers, Bethpage black of the West, Brutal in the wind, 2004 GD 33rd most difficult course in the US and thought well this ought to be interesting.    Long story short, I decided I should probably prepare myself (something I should do anyway.) and bought this.  We're about to see if a little prep and some extra knowledge has any affect on a hacker like me.

I appreciate the feedback! How are they to look at from a fairway lie, where you're looking at more yellow than white or vice versa?

Zero issue hitting them, even when you can see both sides.  I suppose it might be weird if it was a perfectly even split split, but in most cases one side of color is clearly more dominant than the other when it comes to rest.  So you're either going to hit a mostly white or mostly yellow ball.  The only issue I've had is training myself to look for both colors when searching.
