After reading through the Unofficial Review thread on the Rypstick system, I pulled the trigger yesterday and placed the order.  Ready to start my protocol and hopefully increase my swing speed across my bag.

Newest addition to the toy box is the large PuttOut mat and blue pressure putt trainer.

Weirdly, I ordered the mat directly from their site but it was packaged and delivered by Amazon. I wanted the patriot range edition pressure putt trainer which is out of stock online, but found it at Golf Galaxy. GG also had the masters edition gear available in store still, so if that’s your thing then check out their stock.

We're heading back north in another week so had to make a last stop at the Sarasota PGA Superstore since it's only 30 min away. Wife immediately went to the discount rack for clothes - I on the other hand was looking for a 3 wood. An even though lefty stuff is scarce, I found what I was looking for. LTDx with a Smoke iM10 shaft. Wonder how they knew it was on my wish list.  However, I did keep going back and forth between it and the Radspeed 3 Wood with a Tensi shaft, but my wife encouraged me to spend the extra $$ for the LTDx. I love shopping with her. 

As an added +, it came with a lamkin grip instead of the std ARRCOS grip so I can immediately install a Shotscope sensor and not wait til I install my MCC+4.

I received these yesterday and hit the range with them today. They will get their first real test tomorrow morning.

Back about a month or so ago one of the tourists had one. I think he was making a show of it up by the putting green. He was out by the patio swinging that thing and had his wife on the laptop doing I guess analysis. Even though I am Old School and set in my ways I could see if used properly it could benefit.

Well I did it, I bought the Mizuno OMOI 2 black putter!! Happy birthday to me! I tested it against Scotty Cameron Newport 2, COBRA Grandsport 35, and Odyssey Tri-Hot 5k. Did not get along with Scotty, and I really liked the Cobra. In the end it came down to Odyssey and Mizuno, with the Mizuno being the one.

That's a nice birthday present to treat yourself to! I love the finish on the head and that grip pairs well with it. Have fun with it!

It looks amazing, and feels like a Mizuno. It helped me shoot my best round in months. It’s something when it makes the Left Dash feel good.

I held off for quite a while... Then the dam broke and bought new irons, wedges, electric cart, net return and hitting surface.... RCT golf balls... I still need a bag and my 3 wood is 4 or 5 years old...

Picked up an inexpensive used Tectectec rangefinder because I'm terrified I'll lose this one too!

I'm surprised that they got rid of the rails for the newest generation - that was the thing that put them above other fairway woods IMO.

Not sure if this was the model or the Radspeed that eliminated the rails. I have a King F9 5 wood that's a couple of models older and it still has the rails.

I had that one, display stopped working after the first year. And the cover is far from air tight, I had a lot of fog on the lens. Probably related problems.

I'm not expecting anything along the lines of the Precision Pro that I had, and to be honest I rely more on my phone/Apple Watch for distances than anything else. I wanted to have a range finder again for quick distances to hazards, doglegs, etc. I'm not a pinhunter by any means, I'm more an "aim for the center of the green" player at this point in my golfing life.

Picked up an orange whip at Play It Again for $60 on my way to Costco. I really need to stop “poking my head in to see what’s new” every time I’m within a county mile of the store .

I will say, there are few things more satisfying than deep cleaning a dirty item. The top of the whip was obviously due for a scrub but the grip gave off a serious amount of grey goo. Yuck!

The Bushnell has died.   I decided to try something cheaper this go round as $500+ dollars has gotten old every 3 years.  That is how long my last 2 Bushnell's lasted.

Ok. This should be the last club I buy for awhile.

Mizuno T22 54°, 8° bounce, with the denim copper finish. I was going to go with the standard satin chrome finish but, I decided to get a little funky. I really dig the finish in person, especially at address.

I’ll throw it in my bag for a comparison with my 56° MD3 this weekend.
