The only yellow balls that I hit are on the practice range.

Me too, right now.  I have some Titleist Tour Softs in Yellow for winter, but will have to compare with  the MaxFli Tour Yellow for cold weather performance and visibility.

I know I’m repeating myself but I only use Yellow Balls.  ProV1x for real play and Tour Soft on Execs.
For some reason as I’ve gotten a “bit” older the color ball I can follow the best in the air is Yellow.

The Tour Speed is another ball I hit well and a more affordable than ProV1x is a good alternative for me BUT I was having trouble finding them in Yellow.

Ha! I'm only 37 and I switched to yellow last year. Though part of this is from memories of playing with my dad as a kid. In the late 90s I only remember stuff like Pinnacle & other distance balls coming in yellow, so those are the ones my dad gave me. I used to play them all the time. Now it's nice to see that they are making the better balls in yellow too. I play the Z-Star (hope next year they release the Diamond in yellow), and I have 2 doz of the Maxfli ready to go.

I played Tuesday (only chip & putt) with 3guys who had played white balls.  On a lot of Tee shots they couldn’t follow the flight of their balls!!
Hopefully I’ll be able to full swing in a couple of weeks.

I only play yellow too as the majority of seniors at my course play white which allows me to identify my ball easy.  Plus I don't have to kick some old coot in the arse trying to claim my ball.

Purchased Foot Joy Tour Alpha shoes from Amazon, they have (2) colors discounted at this time.

The black model, and the white/gray model are about $17.00 less than MSRP pricing found anywhere else, including Foot Joy website.

These are the number 1 rated spiked shoe from the MGS testing.

At the risk of sounding crazy 😆 but there is something slightly psychologically calming in playing a yellow ball. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Love the zip hoodie.  That's the same polo I got in Kiawah when I played.  Really good looking!  Unfortunately, Peter Millar does not fit me great so I don't think I'll ever wear it.

... How many ways can we say it? It isn't if it is when? Resistance is futile? Money only has value if you spend it? I have been lusting after a Graphite Design AD-IZ in SR flex (between stiff and regular) ever since my fitting last summer.  Ebay "make an offer" sucked me in but I made a low offer and the #*(!@$ guy accepted!  🙄  No m ore excuses for my driving but I have to decide do I want to put it in my LTDx Black Ltd Edition or my Stealth? Gonna compare either one to my Sim2 with an AD-MT SR flex.

Nothing. Bought nothing…

I have a challenge w my hybrids in that they go straight for the first 150 yards or so, and then make a big left turn. Put the blinkers on and turn sharp….

Anyway, with the Cobra challenge (lite) that just got posted, that sent me to their web site in a long time and I saw they have a new iteration of their one length hybrids.  So I called up my guy at Club Champion in WestDesMoines to see if he had any heads in, he did, and off I went. An hour and six or seven different shaft combos later I walked out w my original set of hybrids.

Nothing had a tighter shot pattern/dispersion circle and nothing flew higher (second goal for stopping power).   Sort of happy.  Glad I didn’t just rush in somewhere to buy the off the rack clubs, but took the time to find out.   Gotta fix it w practice, can’t buy it.

Side note, very interesting just how heavy the hybrid heads are without the shaft.

Nothing crazy today, but I haven't felt comfortable over the putter in about a month.  Lots of advice from people, a good lesson from my instructor, and a decision to swap the skinny pistol grip out for the fat pistol.    At almost 50 grams heavier it's definitely changed the swing weight, but it feels tons more in control already.

Well, I figured after buying new irons I needed to check my gaps between them and my hybrids. I've noticed every time I hit them lately that they just aren't going as far as I thought they were. I'll be honest, they are the only clubs in the bag I didn't get fit for or even try, I just ordered them. Hopped on a GC Quad and got some numbers. Mizuno CLK 22 degree was averaging about 215 yards which falls between my 5 and 6 iron. Not good! I've been loving Cobra woods lately so figured I'd start there. Hit the LTDx 21 degree and the first ball was 243 yards. I figured it was a misread so I hit again. 242. Then again and it was 245. My miss with a hybrid is usually a little on the toe so I hit a couple out there just to test forgiveness and the ball still went 238 with very little draw to it. Needless to say I have one on the way, haha.

I may have to give that putter another go and see how it performs, for I quickly judged it to be too small of a setup for my taste.

Many times, I've come close to pulling the trigger on the PXG Bat Attack ... think there will eventually be a CHA post at some point.
