Basically an Evnroll putter plus a $400 shaft. The surprise was the custom paint fill was only $10!

Picked up a TSi2 3wd head for $100 still in the wrapper.  Just need a shaft for it now.  It should be an upgrade from my 2007 TaylorMade Burner TP 3wd.  I have the 2007 5wd in the same model but I pure that thing all the time.  The 3wd just ain’t cutting it lately.

These three are going to do a off season head to head to head for a spot in the bag. All were amazing deals and just couldn't pass them up. Plus it will make for some fun offseason posts and story to see the differences and so on with all of them.

Vice Tour golf balls - Going to put them in play this week and see whats what. I have played the Pro before and enjoyed them. I know the Tour is the cheaper ball, but it is off season here now and courses are pretty wet with a lot of leaves on the ground so even some good shots balls going missing quite easily. 

Cobra 3 wood - Speedzone with Ladies flex. I've swapped out the shaft as I have the f7. This thing was only $20! I mean how could I not haha It will go in the bag this weekend and see what the results are. I love the F7, but was worth seeing if this could come close even being a bit more forgiving and hopefully less draw bias which is what I was struggling with on the 3 wood. The face is also a bit more shallow. I do have a 7 wood shaft as well which depending on how I am feeling I may experiment a bit with that as well.

You are definitely making a run at the Club Ho title @GolfSpy_APHTSi3, 0211, King SZ, Vice Tour's ....

Nice strike pattern on the TSi3 (one of the things I love about the TSi and TSR's... no need for impact tape)... I heard a rumor you were getting 160+ ball speeds with the TSi3?

A cross post from the Otto Phlex thread...  I am experimenting with the concept of dropping two flex levels from my normal set up with the Driver, a la AutoFlex protocol - @azstu324started a thread (here ---->

This is a fascinating thread to read through if you haven't already.

 

So, with my "regular" flex swing... and based on the Otto Phlex thread comments - I purchased a Graffaloy ProLaunch Blue shaft in full length "L" flex with a 45g weight. 

 

A Titleist tip and GP-TV grip later, it was ready for my TSi3.  First swing results were positive.  Fun experiment.

I was in Sub 70 Oct 9th, Received the driver and my wives clubs Oct 20th. 

Sub 70 9* driver with HZRDUS Smoke RBX 6.5 shaft.  I was split between the Ventus shaft. The numbers just weren't enough to justify the cost of the ventus shaft. 

My wife got 699 irons 7,8,9,PW, GW and 5 & 6 hybrid and a driver. She already had 5 & 7 woods and love them.

Update for you, rattle removed and shafts were pured based on the report I got and double checked. Hybrid and 3 wood going in the bag for a round tomorrow, likely the last round of year

Today was a dozen Snell MTB-X and a dozen of their sample pack (MTB/MTB-X).

And very recently was an experimental 12.5° Big Bertha B21 driver clubhead. Then was a Fuji Pro 2.0 6X for said clubhead. Also an Aldila Tour Green 65X for a PGX 0211 driver. And 13 MCC Plus 4 Align grips.

Recently got the new Apple Watch Ultra which makes using Arccos possible but at the same time got the Shot Scope V3 as a gift.

I just received my replacement TSR3 Driver from Titleist (original had a mfg. defect and I said this before, but huge shout out to Titleist Customer Service... they were helpful and responsive in replacing the club).  Now I have a decision to make... 

1. TSR3 with Mitsubishi Tensei AV Blue XLink "R" flex
2. TSi3 with Graffaloy Pro Launch Blue "L" flex
3. TSR3 with Graffaloy Pro Launch Blue "L" flex

A week ago, no decision... option 1 - hands down.  Sent my TSR3 back to Titleist and installed the PLB in the TSi3 5 days ago... and it earned a shot at the bag... Now with the TSR3 back in the mix... I have some serious testing to do.     I have 2 clubs with 4 head/shaft options that are all supremely playable (at least I assume the TSR3 head with PLB shaft is a viable option based on my initial tests with the TSi3 head... but haven't officially tested that combo yet... maybe today... ).

Fall golf is on in all its glory in Central NY. The color while spectacular means leaves that are equally spectacular in both color and volume on the courses. That inspired me to pick up some fall golf balls in a color that isn’t orange, yellow or red. I picked up a couple of dozen Maxflis in green. Dick’s had them at 2 dozen for $35.

As I recently switched from regular to Senior shafts in my irons, I wondered what the switch could do for my driver. I called PXG and asked if I could get a Project X Evenflo Riptide CB driver shaft for my PXG 0211.  They said I should try the PXG Outlet on eBay to save $$$’s. So I found an 0811 XF driver with the Senior version of the Evenflo Riptide CB shaft for only $111. It should be here by Nov 1st.  Not only will I get a Senior shaft to try in my 0211 but also an 0811 XF driver as well.  Thank you PXG Customer Service.

Foz that's the combo I have and am liking it! It's my craziness but there's something about over-sized driver heads that throws me a bit - but instead to me the 0811XF has a really nice, "comfortable" profile.

Note, though.... I jumped in on the "Shaft Hack - Otto Phlex" experiment and currently have a Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue 45/A with that head; the lighter, flexier shaft _may_ (or may not) be helping me.

..but it did get out for a flat water paddle this afternoon (it's a surf standup paddle board) and I love it!

Got the email that the 0211 driver was delivered the other day. However it was delivered to Germany because of customs and such so I will get it Tuesday when the family friend is in town to drop it off!
