Seen it as “cart path only” also but wouldn’t fit that post.

I actually bought the same putter from CPO in a 2 model, saved about $100 off new. I had a laser testing where my aim was looked at and I tended to aim my gamer to the left and a couple of other putters I had were all aiming left, this was one of the few models I actually aimed correctly and I don't usually like plumber neck blades, I am more of a face blanced center shaft kind of person. I have yet to game it yet but I have seen very good results with it in my practive putting mat.  In a couple of weeks I should get to try it out.

I'm really happy with it so far, but I did notice it seemed a bit shorter than my Cleveland so I measured it. 33.5"... It's not a huge deal and I could play it as is, but using the PING app I can see it does affect my ability to maintain proper lie angle. Just sent a message to see if they'd be willing to help me out with a shaft extension or some additional reward points since I don't want to do a return. Worst they can say is no and I fully expect that to be honest. Never hurts to ask though.

I'll probably swap the stock grip for my preferred SuperStroke grip so I can always do a shaft extension then.

EDIT: I already got a response and they offered me some reward points that I'll probably put towards some wedges so I'm super happy with this purchase!

That doesn't surprise me. One of the reasons I like Callaway so much is their customer service. I had an FT-3 driver that I'd bought from an individual- not Callaway- that ended up with a cracked head right below the hosel. I called and asked what we could do. The paid for me to ship it to them, they replaced the head, gave me an upgraded shaft and new matching grip (probably an inventory extra club that was laying around collecting dust) and the shipped it back to me at no cost. It cost me NOTHING and I got a new driver- for sake of argument.

I've moved into the bling phase of my addiction to the game and building clubs...  I think I really wanted these, but it also may just be an excuse to pull out the torch, hosel brush, dremel, and epoxy.  🤫  Also, if this doesn't help me stop with the stupid six/nine doofusry, nothing will.

So you remove the shaft just to change the ferrule, 😮

I’m a hacker who loves nothing more than to change how I play, be that grips shafts and heads its all fair game lol…

As far as I know, if there's some magic other way please let me know.  😆

It isn't that bad once you know your way around doing it.  Heat them up, pull the heads, brush out the old epoxy from the hosel, prep the tip, dry fit and check swing weight, epoxy.  All told it might take 1-2 lazy hours then an additional 24 for epoxy to set.

I traded my 2021 PXG 0211 Driver & three fairway woods for Callaway clubs, but still play my PXG 0311-Gen3 irons (5i-GW).  I got a Callaway Rogue ST Max 10.5 Driver & 5-wood and an 2021 Apex 4-Hybrid.  Also, picked up a Titleist U-510 Driving Iron.  I always get my newer clubs the following year or later to get them discounted…don’t like paying the full price for new clubs!

Driver: Callaway Rogue ST Max 10.5, set to 10.5°, R Flex

Fairway: Callaway Rogue ST Max 5W, 18°, R Flex

The ever persisting winter here has caused me to go stir crazy with golf. Half my bag has not seen a blade of grass. New additions this winter were 4-9 Cobra Tour MiM’s and new lower lofted SM9’s a 50*, 54*, and 58*.

will probably end up with a new hybrid by the time the weather even thinks about warming up.

YAGG = Yet Another Golf Gadget

Bunker play has been, and continues to be, the weakest part of my game so hoping this will help develop better technique.. and more confidence getting out..! (..my whole golf game is based on the BAS Principle, ie. Bunker Avoidance Strategery 🤣)

"Bunker Mate" is basically a thick sheepskin-like material bonded to a solid, rubbery backing and meant to simulate .. or I should say: approximate .. hitting out of a soft sand bunker ...

20230303_120140.jpg.ad9ce6ce05e0ed668adaa45257e12ea3.jpg

It's packaged with two lightweight, soft cover rubber core practice balls (not shown here) which could potentially be used indoors, maybe, I guess.

There's also an illustrated guide on the back of the packaging to Do's and Don'ts of setting up for a bunker shot.

Gave it a quick test and, yes, it did seem I could hit it a touch behind the ball and slide the clubface underneath. So we'll see... 🤞

... I hope it works for you. Bunker shots are so very interesting because if you have improper technique (I am usually not a technique kinda guy) it is an extremely difficult shot. With proper technique it is one of the easiest shots in the game. You may not get it close but your should be able to get it out and on the green every time because the margin for error is huge. Missing your spot for the club to enter the sand can be off 2" in either direction and still hit a decent shot.

... The biggest issue is the technique is unlike any other shot you play and the exact opposite of many. More weight on your front foot, wider stance, cocking the wrists immediately, line outside the plane, keeping the trail hand underneath the shaft, having the club head pass the grip after impact while holding the face open (biggest issue for most) and not swinging too hard unless you need max spin. That's a lot to throw at someone that just takes a "normal" but shorter swing. But the good news is once you have all of the above down, it becomes second nature and not something you think about. That said, good luck with your Bunker Mate!

Back in the day I played to bunkers as my miss, that was in Sydney where they have REAL SAND in the bunkers, I put a lot of time in bunkers and 9 outa 10 times I got up and down easy peasy plus I won the skins lol...

I’m a hacker who loves nothing more than to change how I play, be that grips shafts and heads its all fair game lol…

I had a fitting yesterday for a fairway wood and hybrid.  Decent numbers and dispersion were good so  I took home two new toys!

Taylormade Stealth 2 HD 3- wood 16 degree
Taylormade Stealth 2 HD 4 hybrid 22 degree

The first thing the fitter did was check out the numbers on my current Cleveland XL Launcher Halo Hy-Wood 3+ 18 degree.
We pitted it against a 19 degree HD 5 wood.

The first chart shows the comparison with the Hy-Wood on top and the HD 5 wood on the bottom.

Then I hit an HD 4 Hybrid to compare to the 5 wood and they were so close that we decide the 4 hybrid would work great with a fairway wood closing out the gaping.  The HD 3 wood fit nicely.

I was in bunker this morning that had the consistency of aged Sacrete.

The first step my dad takes when in bunkers is to determine if he can putt out of it.... Sadly it works more than it should with bunkers he plays!

I knew I was in trouble when I didn’t leave any footprints in hard packed “sand/dirt” the trap and I couldn’t see out of it probably 6’ or more.  Should have done the Senior underhand toss.  Pretty popular here.
