Has anyone used the Callaway Pre-Owned site? I'd been getting a ton of ads and picked up a few clubs (2 jaws wedges, a UW and a rogue 3w) all in like-new condition and they've all come in the original packaging!! Absolutely killer deals for those who want modern equipment at crazy discounts and with warranties.

Fairway woods are my nemesis and its the 1st one I have confidence in, for all the knocks against Pings distance and sound the forgiveness and accuracy it provides are game changers for me.

...  Fwiw I think most golfers should start with a 5 wood. The modern ball and low spin heads make the 3 wood and even many 3HL's difficult to hit from the fairway consistently. 5-7-9 woods are much better suited to todays ball unless you have excellent technique or plenty of club head speed.

With my swig speed 3 wood is out of the question. I am looking at a Vista Pro shaft from Fuji to shave 20 grams weight on the 7 FW since I went with the Ping 430 H/L driver with 40 gram class shaft in it. The Fuji in R2 should get the ball higher and give me better carry and decent angle. I may try the same hafy fro the 425 5 hybrid 1st since its only about 50 bucks , even with hosel and grips its a relatively cheap experiment.

Oh and I channeled my inner @GolfSpy_APH and picked up some Raw Sub70 659 TC heads. Have absolutely zero need for them but the price was just too good to not buy.

I got a set to mess with, too. End result might be a head swap. $280 is what the shafts are worth. Love sub70

I need to finish up a few remaining pieces and then will post some pics. It is usable at the moment, but havent had a chance to use it as much as i have wanted to in the last couple weeks because i have been sick.

The screen/enclosure is retractable, it is the Par2Pro Stealth Elite enclosure. Launch monitor is Bushnell Launch Pro, full unlock. Mat is EZ-Tee hybrid. Currently working on finishing up the high speed swing cameras that use the Swing Catalyst software.

First day with 9 wood had mixed results, but all errors were my fault, obviously…

the height made me laugh the first shot, a layup on a par 5. Haven’t hit a green with it yet so I can’t say, but spins at the store we’re in the 4500 range, so I expect it to stick like a lawn dart

I've ordered balls for the new season, and since Titleist finally retuned the 58-04 to its wedge lineup, I've ordered that as well

Was going three series back with an SM-6  58-04.

Not contemplating any other equipment changes in the foreseeable future.

I've got the right stuff for me, I believe.

I got mine last year. Technically mine is the c130s.  It seems to do ok on its own but really that bag spends 99% of it life on my golf cart. On the rare occasion it’s off the cart, I use the legs.

UPS came 7 hours early. Might actually get some swings in with these today, which I didn't think would happen.

Pre-owned sub70 699 irons 6-PW w/ KBS tour 110 R black pvd steel.

I already have the 699u 5i w/ KBS tour v 90 R in the same finish. They look sharp as a combo set. 

The extra swag is a great touch by sub70. Notice they sent a red hat, as I bought irons with red ferrules I'm thinking they put thought into that, or maybe complete random chance.

I also bought a $8 ball mark from them (the white one) and they sent me the other design in black. Now I have room to lose one in my travels, .

Stopped at the local golf store this morning to use the driving range. Decided to talk with my fitter about a hybrid while I was there with an emphasis on finding something that will not break the bank right now. Used but good shape was my goal. They have a huge selection of used clubs so finding something to start the process is not difficult. After trying a few things out, I ended up with a Titleist 818H1 21° with Tensei CK Blue that is in great shape. Great distance and straight so it was a pretty easy decision.

good looking set of irons Rich.  The red ferrules are a cool accent.  Can't wait to hear how they feel.

That's a lot of TLC from Sub70 for shipping out a pre-owned set.  Impressive.  And great looking clubs!

Ty, I gave them a bubble bath (dish soap and a wire brush) and put little hats (head covers) on them. Let them know this treatment is reserved for the 1A clubs, so they know to act right.

Keeping the iron sets separate for now, I sense tension there. Did manage to get some comparison pics below of the best behaved of the bunch, the 6i. Apex '19 vs. Sub70 699 is similar to my eye, but drastically different in design. Excited to play them against each other.

I booked 4pm 9 holes walking so we'll see.
