I blame Rick Shiels and his buddy Rob Potter, as I watched Rob do a 5 driver shootout and hit both these very well.  We have the identical swing speed. 

 

So yeah, Ebay and 12:00 AM while watching Monday Night Football are not a good combination....ha

Picked up a cobra max 6 hybrid with a senior shaft for my 78 y/o father-in-law from 3balls.

 

Hard to find a 6 hybrid with a senior shaft anywhere so I jumped on it.  Got him a 5 hybrid last year.

 

He insists on playing with his old graphite shafted irons that aren't right for him... I keep buying him clubs with senior shafts though...

From what I understand you need a masters degree in mechanical engineering to figure out the settings on that thing!

 

But... it's also a great club.  That blue is simply stunning  (as Rick and Rob would say... )

Yeah, he does seem to be a big fan of almost everything he hits, there was something last year, he wasn't real fond of, but can't recall it.  It's weird that Rob has the same swing speed as I do,but he seems to be getting 30 to 40 more yards on his drives.  Maybe I need to move to the UK,  or maybe just finding the center of the club-face more often would be a much cheaper solution..ha

From what I saw on the video's it's MUCH easier to set and adjust than the 900, and yes,the blue is "Absoluuutely Stunning!!"

I talked to CG2 this AM and one of the first things he says to me is "did you happen to check out what I posted in the what have you bought lately thread"? Lol, I knew I was in for an interesting conversation, lol. The friend side of me said, are you sure you needed two older drivers when you literally have 2 new tech drivers in your bag (that would be the 917 and the srixon driver). He countered well technically the 917 is a year old, but I heard titleist has tech that two years behind everyone else so it would be on Par with the two drivers I picked up from ebay. Club ho rationalization 😂🤣😂 The ho side of me said, "atta boy!! “I know what to get CG2 for Christmas... Hi own empty fitting cart so he has somewhere to put all his clubs in... 😂
