What have you bought lately? (CHA - Club Ho's Anonymous)

Recommended Posts

Waiting for shafts and ferrules. I thought I had the ferrules I needed in my supplies, but after an almost too late check into them, I do not have what I need, I ordered some. Now I have to wait, I hate to wait. I am off work Friday hoping to have everything I need for assembly, post office don't let me down.

USPS is always on time🤭

Hope they take care of you

Ordered the the Snell MTB Black and Red Test Pack, with 6 balls each. Very excited, as this is my first time using Snell balls. Thank you MGS members for all the reviews that turned me on to Dean and what he produces!

I was able to play some yellow Snell Red last week. I didn't care for them that much. I will try them again in warmer weather to see, but they weren't nearly as good as the original MTB. I will try the black as well when they come in, I have a dozen test pack coming, I got the others from a friend who ordered 6 dozen. He let me try them last week.

Well I checked the status, the shafts are our for delivery, and just need the ferrules. Man I wish I checked my supplies earlier.

It's about 3 dollars worth of materials, and still keeps me from building. I hate that.

Training aids, and boy do I need them. Fresh off my club eval/lesson, I've picked up a hitting net (already have a mat), bucket of x-out balls, alignment sticks and a Sklz grip trainer. My lesson definitely proved that I need to work on a stronger-style grip and also work on getting my swing to start back more toward the inside. I also need to stand taller and with a narrower stance. To achieve all this, I need to seriously develop some solid brain memory so it'll be more natural for me when on course, therefore I'll be setting this up tonight and start wacking...

Reading this post just reminded me that I forgot to order ferrules for the new c-taper lite shafts I am putting on my irons. Now I will have to wait a few days to install my new shafts... Off to eBay!

I know I'm on the injured list until mid summer or later. But bought a custom Callaway Rogue driver today.Using the stats from when I was able to swing.Ten degree/ draw face/ stiff custom shaft.Im pretty much hit every shot right to left. But this driver took my carry from 215 ish to 235 ish.Pro said spin numbers and launch were perfect for this. And hit more of a controlled right to left with this club.Gives me something to look forward to this fall.

Nice pickup, 235 carry pretty darn good. That's my longest total......almost.

225 is about my max now. Had a lesson Tuesday and he said 225 is great for my age and no knees. Not sure what he meant

Very nice!

All of the Knives in my pic are over 50 years old so you know Case makes a great product.

I'm personally a Microtech and Spyderco Guy. Case are more collectible really but the functionality is better for me with the others

Didn't know there were collectible Knives. I guess everything has a following.
